"I wanted to email to say a massive thank you to you and the rest of the band. As I hoped the band was brilliant. Playing the first song was a touch, especially as I wasn’t expecting the sax. It was great to hear you play the Irish Rover after the interval as it got everyone up off their seats in their droves. I’ve been to in excess of 30 weddings and you guys are by far the best gig I’ve seen, and I thought this after I saw you at Caroline and Geoff's wedding. I’ve countless comments from those who were at my wedding saying you were brilliant. Thanks again. I can’t praise you chaps highly enough."

"You must book these guys, they did an hour and 15 mins set for our joint birthday festival, they came on early to get the crowd started and they certainly did that, you will not be disappointed, shame we could not of had them into the night but they were already booked up, I’m not surprised. Guys you were absolutely excellent thank you so much we will be in touch again for sure."

"I hired the Hound Dogs for my 50th birthday and they were brilliant. There was a range of ages from 20 to 90 at the party but they managed to get pretty much everyone to dance (including my husband who hates dancing). They are a fantastic musicians and also really nice people - there was some confusion over timings from the venue and they volunteered to go over the finish time quoted in order to complete the set. Highly recommended."

"Wow, what a night! A huge thank you to you and all the band members for making Kelvin’s birthday celebrations so spectacular and memorable! He had a fantastic evening and is still on a high from it and grinning from ear to ear! I can’t thank you enough for all you did for us and playing such fantastic music for us and our guests. We have just spent the last half an hour watching the videos we have of Kelvin when he played his two songs with you and the band! Can’t get enough of them! Everyone of our guests were so impressed with the band and rightly so, you are so talented. I am so glad I found you when I was searching for bands to book for Kelvin’s special night! Apart from WOW !!!!!l Lizy and her team were fabulous !!l we met up before the big day to discuss the playlist and our chosen songs .. Lizy had all our guests on their feet ... Everyone was saying just how good they where, and how well they sounded .. Lizy we can't thank you enough for being at our wedding ... Our guests haven't stopped talking about you and the team ... "Thank you to you and the guys for a fantastic performance on Saturday evening of the event. We received a great deal of positive comments and feedback from people. You went down really well with the crowd and everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. All of us at Manchester Rugby Sevens thought you were the perfect choice. On a personal note, I found you really easy to deal with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking to book a band. "We met Rachel and Peter, The Upbeats Duo, on a cruise and loved their show so much, we bought the CD. Two years later, we got in touch with them to see if they could play at my husband’s 70th birthday. We were delighted when they said yes. We thought that pleasing an age range from 19 to 70 would be a struggle, but no, the Upbeats catered for all of us. Rachel and Peter are an absolutely delightful couple, immensely talented with various instruments and singing. The dance floor was hopping from the get-go until we had to finish. The encores would still be going on now, but sadly we had to eventually stop the evening. Have your entertainment provided by Rachel and Peter and you won’t be disappointed. Oh and they’re both utterly gorgeous too!"

"I saw the band when we arrived back to the church, music sounded great and the duo looked professional and happy to be there. Everyone enjoyed their performance and we would definitely book the band again if we were lucky enough to have a large event in future.
