""Stephen saved the day for us! At a short notice (3 hours) we booked Stephen to play a 1 hour set. He soon had us up on our feet with a fantastic mix of current and older music! We couldn't get enough and asked if he could extend his set, which wasn't a problem for him at all! "Vicki beautifully set the mood with her sensitive playing. She played beautifully for almost four hours. Timeless classics intermingled seamlessly with more modern popular pieces. She was charming throughout the evening. A pleasure to arrange for her to play. She stood in after I was let down, but so professional. Brilliant playing. Vicki created the perfect ambience for the evening. Many guests commented on her excellent performance and charming manner. I strongly recommend Vicki for any function. She has a great range of music which she plays effortlessly. "

"I travel from Sydney to distant places to tour with my band Fuchsia (fuchsiamusic.com) finding string players wherever I happen to be. When I came to England this year, I found Emily on Last Minute Musicians. The music has some fairly complex arrangements, and is unusual with its own unique psychedelic/folk/rock nuances. Emily was dedicated to getting it right, and she played from the scores provided, playing the parts with flair, style, soul and individuality. She was a pleasure to work with, fun on stage, and I would recommend her to anyone from any genre of music."

"Emily played for my son's wedding. For the service itself she provided beautifully mellow background music as guests arrived and settled, and then the chosen tunes for the entrance of the bride and departure of the newlyweds, and during the signing of the register. An easy move to the reception hall and then she played for over an hour while guests mingled, enjoying drinks and canapés, before the wedding breakfast. Emily's playing is superb whether playing classical favourites or modern pop classics! She communicated thoughtfully and professionally about the couple's requirements and choice of music, most of which was from her established repertoire, but also included an addition to Emily's long list of pop favourites. Many guests commented on the beautiful music, but at the same time Emily herself stayed in the background, providing a beautiful musical backdrop to a perfect day."

"I really appreciated Vikki's warm response to, and understanding of our requirements. She was efficient and flexible and all practical arrangements were thorough. She was also more than punctual, arriving before due time in order to set up and welcome our guests on arrival. Vikki is friendly and professional and she made a very good impression. She planned a really lovely programme for the afternoon event 3pm - 6pm. Her playing was beautiful and rich and she was sensitive to the size of the gathering in terms of the volume and tone she used. As the piano in the venue was less than poor, she brought her own electric piano on the proviso that she had help getting it into the venue and back into her vehicle at the end. This was the ideal solution for us. It has a very nice tone. I highly recommend Vikki for weddings, engagement parties, formal occasions, dinner/tea parties and more. Whatever the occasion she strikes me as being more than capable of meeting the brief. I'm so glad I have her in my contacts as I'm certain there will be occasions in the future where I won't hesitate to call on her excellent services."
