"What an incredible evening! All of my interactions prior to the evening were prompt, very helpful and worked with me to plan the evening. On the night, they were great. Reading the room and adjusting the music to suit. When people just wanted to chat after the meal, the music and vocals were there and complimenting. Once we had people on the dance floor it stepped up. A really great experience, would book again without a shadow of a doubt and would highly recommend. Thanks for a great night!"

"We’ve loved the MJDs from seeing them perform locally, and to be able to book them for our garden party was a dream come true. Gorgeous singing and playing, intimate, and got the crowd involved. Loved that we could request songs, and even have the audience request on the night! Great communication beforehand, and felt so easy on the day. Thanks so much, we’ll be booking again xx "

"The band were absolutely fantastic; the music was superb, the caller for the dances just bossy enough to get everybody up (exactly what I wanted), they arrived on time, were set up on time and were friendly and helpful and entered into the spirit of our event. "Ian & Sam were just superb. We hired them for our NYE event and they we professional from the off set. Ian replied speedy and put me at easy and made the booking process and discussing our event extremely easy which filled me with confidence. On the day this only continued, they arrived promptly and were extremely adaptable on setting up and adjusting to our space. All our guests only had great feedback and they made the evening one to remember. I’d highly recommend them for any event. Many thanks to you both!"

"Thank you for playing such a huuuuge part in what was genuinely the best night of my life. It was all so overwhelming and I'm not sure I took it all in. "Luc has been a dream to deal with. Easy to book, great communication and flexible with song choice and had creative input on our ceremony and song recommendations. Luc's talent made our wedding day. Luc performed at our pre ceremony drinks, ceremony and post ceremony. Luc's solo during our ceremony allowed us to really take in the magic of the moment and his talent playing the harp is next level. Finding Luc was a gift. We would recommend luc to anyone. "My wife and I are so pleased we booked the The River Jazz Quartet for our golden wedding anniversary party. They were friendly and easy to deal with in preparing for the event, and on the day itself they performed brilliantly. Many of our guests have since told us how very impressed they were. "

"He literally had audience members jaws dropping...transmits an energy to the audience that really connects with everyone. It doesn’t really matter what particular style of music you are into, when you feel the energy of this style of playing you can’t help but be drawn in."
