Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Funk it Up! played two amazing sets at our International Women’s Day Dance in Whitstable in March 2024. They were fantastic from beginning to end! Communication was great before the gig and they were friendly, accessible and professional throughout. They played a wide range of fabulous music which was spot on and had all our guests dancing and singing along. All the band are great musicians but what a coup to have such a fantastic, confident woman at the top of her game on lead vocals, epitomising the theme of this event. We’ve had such positive comments since the gig and I can’t recommend this band highly enough."

"Mark and I can’t thank you enough, everyone said how great the band was. It was great because you got everyone up and dancing, it made the evening of the wedding. Communication throughout was great and any questions and queries were answered. Would definitely recommend or if we were to have another function/party we would definitely rebook. "Both my husband and I (and many of our friends) have seen The Covers Brothers several times - we even had them play at a private party last year. They have always been a superb act, whether playing their original material or covers. They are the best local act we have ever seen!"

"The band were fantastic. There was a really great atmosphere, and the singers and musical talent were brilliant. It made me want to go out and see more live music up close. A fun and lively upbeat band that played music that got everyone on their feet, I would thoroughly recommend them for any party or event. I thought the band were tight, balanced and very professional. Great sound and clearly talented. Groove-alicious!!"
