Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"I saw RockEnergy at the Kings pub in Islington. The whole place was rocking. The lead singer has a great voice and the guy who was playing guitar was fantastic. They had some great classic songs in their set. The party I was with had a great time, and commented how good the band was. Would highly recommend these 2 guys for any party. Thanks again for entertaining us."

We absolutely loved you at our wedding and you made the evening a total success (well I think Gareth and I might have had something to do with that as well!!!), but everyone since the wedding has commented on how good you were and how many guests were dancing. "I think judging by all the messages and the photographs, everybody had such a fabulous time. Everything about the music was just perfect, a great mix of songs and yourself and the band fitted in with all our wishes, everything was timed so well. Thank you all so much, I personally was sorry the evening ended, it seemed to go so quick."

"Oh what a night! Thank you both so much for making my party! You girls were fantastic and all of my thank you messages include you girls. You were incredible and I could not have wished for a better night. I hope that I can recommend you. I want to have another party so I can have you sing! Really it was very special and I only hope you had as much fun as we did. One or two casualties at the end of the night (just tipsy friends) but all in all a fabulous and memorable evening. "We were bowled over by the band! The 2 sets were perfectly pitched to get dancers onto the floor, really good musicianship and sound system. 10/10. Before the day Mark was in good contact and made sure that we had the event we wanted, also early arrival and set up so we could relax on the day. Cannot thank them enough, highly recommended. We could not have asked for a more perfect band to play at our wedding - all of our guests were blown away and have been consistently commenting that you are the best band they have ever seen. "We hired the Marvellous Souls for our wedding evening. One of our biggest concerns when wedding planning was that no one would be dancing on the dance floor. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The dance floor was full all night thanks to the amazing talent and engagement from the band. Each member is incredible at what they do and they are such genuine lovely people. We went with the 6 piece band and it was a perfect dynamic, the band played so well together. We also hired the DJ who created a great atmosphere before the band and kept everyone dancing after the band finished. The wedding venue even said it’s the best band they have ever had at the venue! The communication prior to the wedding was first class and we were immediately put at ease and felt well taken care of. They were very organised, professional and everything went very smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Would 100% recommend booking The Marvellous souls if you are looking for talented musicians, a good time and professionalism! Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable and fun! "
