"andy performed at my son’s fundraiser at Lollo Rosso in Morpeth last night. She was absolutely AMAZING, we had 79 guests with ages ranging from 8 through to 94 and she catered for everyone tastes in music genres. She sang her heart out, she was so accommodating, versatile, very easy going, adaptable and extremely professional throughout the whole evening. She has such a wonderful voice and manages to belt out the big numbers, so talented. She even helped us with the raffle and did some comparing for us too. I would have no hesitation recommending her, in fact I don’t think our night would’ve been as successful without her. Thank you again so much. Xx"

"Please can you pass my compliments on to the band for the wonderful job they did on Saturday last. Our guests have been absolutely raving about them! They were so good in fact I think they tired most of us out after 3 dances!! We both really appreciate how organised, friendly and accommodating the band were and would not hesitate at all about recommending them to our family and friends. They really made our day so special, our first dance is one I’ll always remember and the smiles on people’s faces as they had fun dancing “The Siege of Ennis”! Thank you once again."

"Straight Up were beyond brilliant as the evening entertainment for our wedding. The dance floor was full the entire time and we had so many comments about how brilliant they were - their manager was great at communicating in the run up to the event and they were willing to tweak the set list so it was perfect for our friends and family! Would thoroughly recommend. "

"I wanted to thank you and the band for a wonderful afternoon of entertainment - the playing and singing was marvellous and not too loud so people could enjoy listening and talking at the same time and also inspired some dancing!! A lot of people asked where I found you so should anyone have an event coming up and need a jazz band I will pass on your details. "Sam played wonderfully at my Mum's Funeral on Saturday 1st November. At the Church and Crematorium. He is a very respectful, professional and lovely young man. Everyone gave such high praise for Sam on Saturday including our Minister, Funeral Director and my friends. I can't thank Sam enough, just exactly what Mum would have wanted."

"Gareth was brilliant for our wedding. He emailed all the options and took the time to come and meet for coffee and discuss further. We really appreciated his considerable experience and that he took the time to come and get to know a little bit about us. He helped us choose the wedding songs and hymns and suggested where to place them in the service. He also proof read our order of service prior to printing. On the day the music was more than we could have ever wished for and lovely, energetic hymns. Anyone looking for a real professional with vast experience who goes the extra mile to make your occasion really special should book this amiable and talented guy. Thanks G - you made our day."

"Jonathan played at our wedding on 21 June this year. He is very good at communicating and pointing you in the right direction regarding the music. He arrived promptly he was very smartly turned out and all in all was very professional. Our guests were most impressed with his playing. "We booked Party Sounds for our wedding reception and they were absolutely fantastic! The boys played a brilliant mix of music which had people of all ages up and dancing which made for a great party. The band learnt a new song for our first dance which meant a lot to us and they put their own great spin on it. Fantastic time had by all and just a really lovely bunch of guys!
