"We were looking for a singer for a party we were holding and came across Georgia - she fitted the bill perfectly. She has such an amazing voice and really got people dancing. Communication was great and she arrived in plenty of time to ensure set up was fine. Thank you!"

"Unrecognised genius The Arsenal Tavern, Finsbury Park on Saturday 25 June 2022 That headline was a quote from DAVID BOWIE in Mojo Magazine about Billy RItchie, the keyboard player of MAYHEM, and could easily apply to the band itself. I reviewed them before, having been hugely impressed by the stunning harmonies and clever use of backing tracks, but I have to say, the new incarnation is even better, with Billy on Keyboards and Carol singing with even more assurance as when I first saw them a few years ago. DAVID BOWIE's comment is seen to be apt, the keyboards adding yet another dimension to what was already a very fine band/duo. I went to The Arsenal Tavern to catch the band, out of curiosity, especially when I noted the addition of keyboards. What a nice venue, rather a shame that the crowd was relatively quiet for a Saturday night, but they did warm up in the end - more than that, there was whooping and hollering as Carol and Billy sang "Don't Stop me Now" by Queen and "Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen, among many other fine renditions of popular and very danceable songs, including Carol's stirring version of "Feel like a Woman" and Billy's rousing "Light my Fire" with its stunning organ solo and vocal climax producing a roar from the crowd before the song even ended. I still sense that this band has yet more to offer, some of the material could be considered rather lightweight and perhaps too populist, for such a credible force as MAYHEM are. "So what can I say that hasn't already been said? The Fireflies lived upto & exceeded expectations. From making first contact with Ian and discussing plans & requirements, to packing away after my husband Toms 70th birthday celebration in our garden, the band were personable, friendly & professional. The music they played or included on the playlist was as requested, and was perfect for all guests to enjoy. Ian always checked that I was happy with how things were and was very reassuring, especially when he first arrived and could see how stressed I was, so that I was finally able to enjoy the party too. So many of our guests asked how I found the band, and comments such as "they're amazing", "superb band", "they're great, aren't they" & from the birthday boy himself "wow" are further testaments as to why you should seriously consider them for your event. Even uninvited neighbours, days later, said they enjoyed the music. Thank you Ian, Sam, James & Greg - you made our party memorable. We're still talking about it!"

"Roland played at my Dad’s wife’s 60th birthday. There was a rare old mix of ages present, & Roland played EXACTLY the right combination of songs. His voice was spot on, his playing was spot on, & his whole performance was… SPOT ON!! We hired Roland for background music, & he delivered beautifully! I’d thoroughly recommend him for any parties, weddings & pub garden events where a full band might be ‘a touch much’ Roland was absolutely the right choice & I’m gutted I forgot to record any of it, because he really was fantastic."

From the initial contact to the day they were awesome, all our guests were blown away with their talent and they were definitely part of making our special day memorable.
