"Thank you so much for performing at our wedding at Nancarrow on the 9th. The acoustic set was the perfect way to start the day and the party sets were so much fun! "Truly the BEST band ever and the most AMAZING people, If you are reading these reviews wondering if The Players are the band for you then let me reassure you that they are...... As a Wedding Photographer I have seen my fair share of bands but The Players were an easy pick for us, they really do know how to liven up the dance floor. We let them have free reign over what music to play and they picked some corkers. All our guests were raving over them and still are 2months later..in fact our friends loved them so much they are also booking them for their wedding :) They made our first dance so special and absolutely nailed the song, so much so we liked there version more than the original, I got in touch with Paddy from The Players and asked if it was possible for them to record there version of the song so I could give it to my wife for her Birthday - a few weeks later and I have the recording - Sara is going to LOVE it!!! If you are looking for a band then I honestly can't recommend them enough, They were easy to book, answered our questions promptly, came to the venue and set up with no issues, played great music all night and got our guests on the dance floor...they smashed it. "Now what can I say about the Band, Solid Gold. The event was my Masonic Lodge Ladies evening, of which I have the great honour of being master in its centenary year. As a result I wanted the evening to be the best possible, I was not disappointed. Paul and the band arrived mid afternoon for the event even though they were not due on stage until 9pm. Communication between us prior to the event was excellent, very professional and informative, then we get to the evening itself. WOW!!! What a night, over the years I have booked acts for many organisations and I have got to say Solid Gold stand out as the best by a country mile. Every single person had a fabulous evening and that was down to Solid Gold. During our pre event discussion Paul ask for details of the event, what kind of audience it would be and what kind of music I would like them to perform. As a result the band put together a playlist that was absolutely perfect, unbelievably now knowing that I am a big fan of The Who they set about learning a couple of Who songs,which they had never done before, perfect!!!! If anyone is looking for a band that are musically excellent, reliable and know just how to entertain an audience, Solid Gold have got to be their number one option, I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much"

"We book Jenny last minute for a private party we were organising. Having reviewed and watched her video's online we liked what we heard, however in person Jen is so much better. She has an amazing voice and all our guests were extremely impressed. From start to finish Jen was very professional. She knew exactly what we wanted and on the evening adapted to the audience and what they were enjoying. We were so impressed with her we shall be booking Jen for further events we are planning. Thanks Jen, you were great company and we also enjoyed your company during dinner too. Will see you again soon "

"I saw these guys at a public event, I must say it was good to see some real country licks and sounds! Really liked them, authentic and if you like the more traditional foot tapping stuff, you will love these! Although they did actually play some Post Malone and Morgan Wallen"

"I hired these lads for my 50th earlier in the year. From start to finish their attitude was excellent. They are both really helpful and share their knowledge. They blew us away with their set and got the crowd going from the get go. Bring on my 60th! "

"We booked Platinum for our wedding recently and we're so happy we did! The band were absolutely amazing and had such a range of songs suitable for guests of all ages. They were very professional to deal with and communication was great. Our guests never left the dancefloor and were raving about the band all evening and following few days. If you are thinking about booking them... Do it, you won't regret it."

"5 star Google Review: Nigel was incredible from start to finish. From the moment we met him at an open day, he had such a positive and warming energy. Nigel had fantastic communication with us throughout the wedding planning process and kept us updated on his ever growing repertoire or songs that we could choose for the day. How he can play this many songs by memory is truly a testament to his talent! On the day he he was fantastic and I really do not think there are enough words to describe how great he is both as a Pianist and a person! He played all sorts of songs across genres and everybody complimented how much of a great addition he was to the day. He even learned extra songs that were important to us which was another special touch. If you are thinking about having a Pianist, book Nigel! Thank you do much for making our day so personal and special. - Stacey & Harley"

"The Red Hot Rags were amazing! They brought such a lovely atmosphere to our wedding. Their jazz was smooth, elegant, and just felt so classy. It was exactly what we were hoping for during the drinks and dinner. Later on, they picked up the tempo and had everyone dancing, which we honestly weren’t expecting from a jazz band! They were also so friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process. They really added something special to the day, and we’re so glad we found them."
