"We contacted Caroline for our wedding in August, we were delighted to hear Caroline was available and was happy we had found the professional we were hoping for. We were told she would send an invoice in a few days, after a lengthy delay we received an email informing us that she was double booked but hoped we could find someone else for our day.... not quite the wedding professional you would hope for. Beware if you are looking to book."

Invoices are sent out within a week of a verbal or written confirmation as detailed on my auto-responder, although I endeavour to send them out sooner. In Hollie’s case I discovered, on writing the invoice that unfortunately, another person had requested and accepted a quote for the same date within the same week. The process had been to enter the date into my diary when the invoices were sent out to avoid any confusion, as many quotes are given out, but not all taken up. The fact that this rare situation had occurred was communicated to Hollie within the week of her written communication that she wished to proceed, and before the invoice had been sent out. Additional time had been spent sourcing and purchasing the best version of Hollie’s desired song as she had requested something outside of my repertoire list and I wanted to make sure that I had found a suitable version prior to writing Hollie’s invoice. However, processes are continually improved upon and the booking process has now been rectified so that a provisional booking is entered into the calendar at the point of a verbal or written confirmation, before an invoice has been sent out in order to prevent disappointment. - Caroline

"We were looking for a musician/singer for a birthday garden party and James P. Anno fit the bill perfectly. His extensive list of soul/jazz/current songs was great and we were able to choose 10-15 songs off his list to play along with others that he played. We also requested a song that was not on his list and James happily learnt the song which was really appreciated and well received. We had two 1 hour sessions with a relaxed feel for the first set and then a more uptempo second set, which is what we had asked for and worked really well for our afternoon/early evening party. James corresponded well, we had a zoom meeting to discuss what we wanted, the atmosphere we were trying to create and he took it all on board. James arrived early to set up, he was polite, friendly and professional throughout and was extremely flexible. James was a huge success with us and our guests, he is a great pianist and singer and there was lots of dancing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James."

"My (now) wife and I booked the King’s Quartet to play at our wedding ceremony and reception in November 2017, and they were undoubtedly one of the highlights of the day. Despite contracting them at a relatively late stage (around three weeks before the event), they were very open to our requests, and the quality of their playing was excellent. As our wedding was quite small, their music really added to the ambience without overwhelming guests' conversations. We were also impressed with their professional service. They were smartly dressed, arrived exactly on time and managed the transition between the three rooms they had to play in without any problems."

"Hi Gordon, Just a quick note to say thank you again to you and the bands for the hard work at our wedding at Shortflatt Tower, I hope that we did not cause you too much stress with the slightly delayed schedule and the last-minute RSVP song-lists! The bands, both the ceilidh and the party band, sounded great and had people dancing which is all that we wanted. I am sure you will be back at Shortflatt Tower again at some point soon and hope you and the band continue to entertain regularly, we will certainly recommend you to anyone asking! Thank you again!
