"Hi Marcella and Junior, I hope you are both well and enjoying this gorgeous weather we now have! Sorry for the delay in replying, having returned from our honeymoon and settling into married life, we wanted to get in touch to say a massive thank you to you both! Will and I had such a wonderful day and we are so thankful that you both made that long trip to come and play at our wedding. The whole day was exactly what we wanted, could have wished for and you gave us such great music, creating the fun atmosphere we had hoped for. "Good Afternoon, I just want to take the time to Thank You as Ian has just left and he was just wonderful! We have quite a few pupils with complex needs yet they were able to sequence the notes and copy Ian on the drum! They were all engaged and absolutely loved the music, dancing and waving ribbons. It was also so interesting listening to his question and answer time, he is so knowledgeble and linked so well to our Topic on the Windrush. "We wanted some steel band music to set the tone for our Caribbean themed Golden Wedding Anniversary Party so we booked Gary Trotman. He was the ultimate professional. He arrived early, set up quietly with no fuss and then delivered exactly what we wanted. We told our guests that he had flown in especially from Barbados to perform and he was so good some of them believed us! The icing to the cake was that we asked for a specific song which Gary wasn't expecting but he researched it quickly and delivered. Very special We highly recommend Gary - a class act"

"My first experience of a live steel band was listening to “Caribbean Heatwave” on board P & O cruise ship Ventura. And what an experience!! Heatwave gave passengers a wonderful Caribbean musical introduction, playing lots of popular reggae and traditional songs, but coupled with well-known ballads and even some wonderful jazz numbers which went down a treat when we were in New Orleans. The leader of the group was amazing to watch (he plays with four sticks) and showed his huge personality, skill and talent as he produced fantastic sounds from two pans. Great to watch a consummate performer in action. I wish him well, and his band."

"So sorry it has taken me so long to say how wonderful Eugene and his Steel Band were. He is the most delightful person and they played most beautifully. The evening got off to a really splendid start thanks to them and the weather was perfect, (unlike now). So please pass on my thanks gain to Eugene and the Carabana steel band. I do hope we have another occasion when we can ask them to play again."
