"Just wanted to send an email to say a massive thank you for performing at our Wedding in Knowsley Hall on 30th July. We first heard you at an open day in the Hall some months before, and at the time you were playing Hoppipolla. We hadn't thought about booking a string quartet, but for some reason hearing you play this made me come over very emotional and we knew we had to have you playing me down the aisle to that song. From the moment we first enquired with you, you have been nothing but helpful and proffesional, and we knew we could rely on you. Even when I was flapping about the timings of the aisle music and worrying I would get the walk wrong, Rachel was quick to reassure me that you adapt the music as needed on the day to ensure the bride walks at the best part of the song,and the timing of the song could be finished as appropriate to the start of the ceremony. This, and everything else you played on the day worked perfectly. The songs you used were beautiful and set the tone of the day so well, you looked and sounded amazing. Our guests have all commented on how wonderful you were, and we really cannot thank you enough. "

" Just wanted to email to say a huge thank u for the amazing entertainment you provided at my 40th party. You were so fantastic and entertained everyone so well. You professionally arrived, set up and read the crowd during the evening brilliantly. I have received so many lovely comments about how amazing you were and how my friends haven’t danced so much in years!! A few friends were very achy the next day from exerting themselves on the dance floor!! The other thing I wanted to say a huge thank you for, was being so kind to my boys, especially Freddie. You made his year by letting him put his guitar near yours on a stand and for letting him join in. He hasn’t stopped grinning since the party. It was a very special moment for me and my friends to watch him playing with you. Thank you so much for allowing him to join in. It made the evening so memorable. The playlist you chose and played worked so well and allowed myself and my guests to have one of the best evenings I can remember. "We wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for the brilliant music at our wedding! You were consummate professionals and had an amazing energy on the stage – as well as being great musicians of course – and kept the dance floor packed with happy bodies all night. We all had the best time! Nearly everyone I spoke to made a point of saying what a great band you were, and I was definitely torn between talking to people and just dancing the night away (actually leaning more to the latter…!). Thank you, also, for learning our first dance song, and for helping with the iPad between sets."

"The Royal Valentines created an excellent atmosphere at our Post Burns Supper function. Their selection of music fitted the occasion perfectly and inspired people to dance and be involved. They are professional, efficient and communicated thoroughly through all of the booking process. Overall a fabulous group who I would highly recommend and consider for future events."

"James is one of the best pianists you can book for your event. Polite, punctual and professional, with a great repertoire of both modern and standard songs which he can tailor to suit your event. His style suits receptions, dinners and aftershow performance. Personable and always great to deal with prior to the event, he is a valued addition to any entertainment programme."

"Thank you so much! You were exactly what we were looking for, and my dad just thought you were great (we had told him we were getting a dj so you were a nice surprise for him!). I have to tell you, absolutely everyone I spoke to at the party commented on how good you were, that you were perfect for my dads party, and how they much preferred your sets to a dj – a few even said they were definitely booking you for their upcoming parties! Thanks again, you were really wonderful!"
