"We hired this band for our summer Wedding, and were very impressed with not only the bands performance and energy, but also with their overall friendliness towards ourselves and our guests. The music was spot on, and certainly made all our guests want to dance the night away. They helped make the evening of our wedding one to remember. Would definitely recommend this band to anyone looking for a fun & lively night."

"The Pop Pickers were just fabulous. I cannot thank Ian and the band enough for such a great evening of music. The party was held in a smaller room than the band was used to, but the sound levels were perfect. They were very accommodating with timings etc so that the evening ran smoothly. The song choices from the 50's and 60's, 70's was spot on, everyone was up on their feet and I am pleased to say my 80 year old Dad danced all night. Excellent band and great value, now we just need another event so we can book them again."

"Thank you so much for your services on Saturday night at Dad’s party. It was lovely to meet you both at last and everyone enjoyed your music. Kenny and I particularly appreciated your assistance with the microphone during the evening as well. It’s little things like this that sometimes go unnoticed (but not by us). I know Dad had a wonderful time which was the main purpose. Your song choice was great and worked really well with the mixed audience."

They were absolutely perfect for our summer party event, not only can they sing and play but they are friendly and accommodating and their sets are so perfect for the environment. "I recently booked Ruby to sing at a 100th birthday celebration for one of our residents at the care home where I work. I wanted to organise the most perfect party for Ida and her family and even managed to secure the Lord Mayor of Sutton Coldfield to attend the celebration. From our first conversation, I knew Ruby was just perfect to perform for us all. Ruby arrived and set up at the agreed time looking fabulous, and sang us through the ages. One memorable moment was whilst singing The White Cliffs of Dover Ruby sang right next to Ida and they interacted beautifully with Ida fully engaged and singing along. The feedback I received from our residents, their relatives and staff in attendance at the celebration was absolutely brilliant and many have asked when Ruby will be back to sing for us all again. I have booked Ruby for our next event and look forward to working with her on many more occasions. I can not recommend this lovely lady enough."

"Super tight funky and disco band with incredible singers. Studio Groove kept the dance floor packed all night and made the evening of our wedding so much fun. Band leader Derrick was very approachable, asking in advance of the event if I had any requests for additional songs. I'd 100% book Studio Groove again if I'm ever organising another event that needs great music. Thank you Derrick and the band!"

" We hired The Fireflies for our festival style wedding and we could not have been happier from start to finish. Ian got in touch and introduced himself and discussed everything we needed to know. They were great at communicating with us and going through our music choices. On the day they kept us updated with their arrival time. The live music was so incredible, it was really amazing that the whole band got involved with our guests changing the odd word in a song and having a dance with us all. It really made our wedding having such a great live band, all of our guests commented brilliant they were too. We would definitely recommend. Thank you so much. Fran and James"

"Just a short note to say that Blackthorn we absolutely excellent !They played brilliantly and really connected well with the audience. All excellent musicians and great performers and were thouroughly enjoyed by all who came. Worth every penny ! I hope they will consider joining us again next year.
