"We booked Swing Gitan for our wedding on 7 September. We had seen them a couple of times around Nottingham and really liked their style and music. On the day itself, they played for about 2 hours with a short break in the middle. We really loved their music and it fit in well with our venue, which was in a barn and marquee on a farm. They were great at replying to all our questions which was one less thing to worry about when planning a wedding! All our guests really enjoyed them too; their music appeals across all ages and we had lots of comments that it was great to hear something a bit different at a wedding. We wouldn't hesitate to book them for another occasion!"

"Me and my wife hired the band to play our wedding and had the best time ever! All members were polite and friendly, dressed for the occasion and made our night. Excellent communication with our selfs and the venue, very well organised and very considerate. We only had a small room for the band but they made it work and sound great, also very respectful of the venue. They’re all very talented musicians and all of our guests were blown away by the performance, they had the dance floor full for 3 hours. I challenge you to find a wedding band that can shred like these guys."

"Throughout the night, a local jazz pianist Elliot treated us to a variety of classics that added to the ever growing ’20s feel. Our scenario felt like something out of a movie, and Elliott made my guest and I feel like the only two people in the room – especially when he sang ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ to me. Swoon."

We must say how beautiful your music was on arrival for the welcome reception – you provided such a fabulous atmosphere to such a perfect day. Everyone commented on your professionalism, your exceptionally smart appearance and truly enjoyed recognising the classical interpretation of the modern music played. The huge selection and varied style of music performed was absolutely perfect, covering all age groups and to be honest with you, I think the adults truly enjoyed the Disney selection! We were only disappointed that we didn't get the opportunity to listen closely to your whole performance – but thankfully, your CD is a wonderful keepsake – so we can hear you play once again. Rest assured we will take great delight in recommending your services to our friends, family and anyone looking for a string quartet. "A fantastic Evening, the most accomplished Musical Duo ,especially with the variety of their performance we have seen for many years. Their connection with the audience made for an extraordinary and enjoyable evening. The mixture of styles and the variety of instruments they played was a joy and an eye opener that , and the level of ability with all the instruments they played was Phenomenal. "We had Indigo Charm play at our wedding and they were amazing. Every song was played so well and the vocalist was great. Booking process was smooth and the band just came to the venue and set themselves up, all very easy and didn’t interrupt the event. Highly recommend. "

" Before the event - easy and clear communication. On the day: Punctual, relaxed, set up: professional and without any fuss. The music was great. Kip did the calling and was fantastic, clear, extremely patient, great humour but also not overbearing. Great variety of music and dances - so many smiling faces of all ages. There was nothing that could have been improved. Would highly recommend - and already have!"

"Wow, what a night! A huge thank you to you and all the band members for making Kelvin’s birthday celebrations so spectacular and memorable! He had a fantastic evening and is still on a high from it and grinning from ear to ear! I can’t thank you enough for all you did for us and playing such fantastic music for us and our guests. We have just spent the last half an hour watching the videos we have of Kelvin when he played his two songs with you and the band! Can’t get enough of them! Everyone of our guests were so impressed with the band and rightly so, you are so talented. I am so glad I found you when I was searching for bands to book for Kelvin’s special night! "The Village Beats have played at our Christmas party at our club in Adderbury, Oxfordshire for the last 2 consecutive years and we have booked them for a 3rd year! The band have helped us make our parties such a success - drawing everyone onto the dance floor for a boogie. They are such a fun band, playing popular music, always adding to their repoitoire and therefore able to cater for all age groups. They obviously really enjoy their music and their gigs and are very competent musicians and singers. I live in the village of Somerton, Oxfordshire and also booked The Village Beats for our Christmas party last year and have rebooked them for this year. Our villagers have said that it was the best Christmas party for years! If you book The Village Beats for your special occasion you won’t regret it! "
