"These guys were just great and made a special birthday really special. Just loved Mike’s amazing fiddle playing. They accommodated all our requests for Irish and Scottish music and were flexible around times which was great as lunch was later than anticipated. Would highly recommend."

"We booked on the note band for my 60th Bday and wow they did not disappoint! Through the arranging stages they kept in contact with us and nearer the time contacted me to confirm all the arrangement's. The band played a variety of songs which was great as my guest's ages were very mixed Thanks again and we will be booking you again!"

They were extremely organised and personable both in advance of and on the day, and most importantly brought the party to our wedding! Everyone was asking where we found Straight Up. "I would highly recommend Hannah to play at any wedding event. She was reliable, super organised and very sensitive to the needs of the occasion. Her music was beautifully judged and she worked hard with the bride and groom to find any further music for special requests. Her playing is very fine indeed and our guests thoroughly enjoyed her performance. Thank you so much Hannah for completing the atmosphere at our son's wedding so beautifully!"

"Laura was an absolute delight to deal with when we were making arrangements for our big day. On the day she arrived with plenty of time, got herself set up without issue and played beautifully throughout the guests' arrival and into the ceremony. The bride was (predictably!) very late and Laura played on without any fuss, well past the time we had actually booked her for which really was above and beyond! We are so grateful to Laura for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! We cannot recommend her highly enough!"

"We are happy to say that Magic Marc was really excellent-the guests all agreed he was great and that he worked well with all the ages present, we have pictures of young children with their jaws dropping and adults looking bamboozled! We would highly recommend him."

"Booked the band for a joint 50/18th birthday party & all my daughters friends have not stopped talking about what a great night they all had. The band did a couple of sets and once the first note was played the dance floor just filled up. I've spent the last two days apologizing to a lot of my guests, cause once the band came on, I never left the dance floor. If your in to live soul music and I mean LIVE !!!!! this is the band for you. The whole band just love to entertain and made all our guests feel very special. Book them now before everybody else finds out about them, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Thanks again for making our birthday party so special. "
