"Brilliant night well entertaining."

"We were absolutely delighted to have booked the MB's to play at our wedding reception. The standard was exceptional and the band had provided an extensive repertoire from which we were able to highlight our favoured songs. The band also had recordings of some numbers on sound cloud so that we could learn a first dance to the exact arrangement that they were to play on the night. It couldn’t have been easier – in the end we chose to charleston to “I want to be like you” which was fun and went down extremely well. I liaised with Chris mainly via email, but chatted on the phone nearer to the day so that arrangements could be finalised, nothing was too much trouble and the band was a real highlight. The keyboard player was booked earlier to play the piano during the meal and their set up was efficient. The band had travelled from Yorkshire to London to play and they might be making the journey down the A1 more frequently as several guests at the wedding have been asking for their contact details, and all thank you letters have commented on their stunning performance, the dance floor was filled all night."

"The band were really helpful when we contacted them before the wedding. On the day they set up with no fuss, and let us borrow their mics for our speeches. Their 3 sets were all really good-everyone was dancing from the beginning until the end, and everyone has been commenting on what a great band they are. They were so full of energy, and even ended up wearing props from our photo booth which added to the fun- the drummer looked great in a fez!"

"A truly beautiful voice, the perfect drinks reception atmosphere! We cannot say enough good things about Nicola. We booked Nicola to sing during our afternoon drinks reception and she was an absolute highlight of the day. From the very beginning her communication was brilliant, quick responses, clear information, and such a warm, calming approach that instantly made us feel at ease. Planning a wedding comes with a million moving parts, and Nicola was one of those suppliers who made everything feel effortless. In the run-up to the wedding, Nicola got back in touch to confirm timings and details so she could deliver everything flawlessly. That level of organisation and care meant we didn’t have to worry about a thing, we knew she had it all in hand. Then on the day… wow. Nicola is a phenomenal singer with a truly beautiful voice. She created the most gorgeous atmosphere for our drinks reception, elegant, uplifting, and the perfect backdrop for guests mingling and celebrating. We had so many people comment on how amazing she was. What made it even more special was how she tailored her set using little details she’d picked up from our messages over the months; it felt so personal and thoughtful, and it really elevated the experience for everyone. If you’re looking for a wedding singer who is incredibly talented, professional, and genuinely lovely to work with, Nicola is the one. We honestly can’t recommend her highly enough!"

"Mellowtone Jazz played for 3 hours during our wedding reception They were perfect and were a focal point without being intrusive. The music suited all ages and tastes and we had many compliments on finding such an appropriate band They are very professional and highly recommended."

"Francesca has performed twice for us, and both times she has been superb. She and her backing musicians were first class, they delivered exactly the right kind of music at the right time, and if I plan another celebration, I won't hesitate to book her again. The only thing I would do differently would be to delegate some of the hosting responsibilities so that I would be able to spend more time just listening to a singer and a group of musicians performing at the top of their game. "

"Our guests loved you and my Dad in particular said that you made his day playing one of his favourite songs on request. We were so sad that we didn't get the chance to listen to more of your songs on the day, however the songs we heard you played during the ceremony were beautiful and our guests have been so complimentary of you. Again thank you all so much, and hopefully we will hear you play again in the future. "

"Hi Anne, my apologies for not getting in touch sooner but just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding!! It sounded incredible and really suited the surrounds, my only regret is as myself and Emma were outside for a large period of the drinks reception, we didn't get to hear more but we had some lovely comments from guests. I hope that the groomsmen and venue looked after you on the day and thank you once again for being part of our day."

"I have booked Sunny Steel band for two of our coprorate events and they have been professional, upbeat and commited. One event was our family funday which was an outdoor event and it poured with rain in the afternoon and the steel pan musicians "played on" and brightened everyones mood. I have a memory of the drummer playing with drips running down his back (despite the gazebo roof covering the rain was too heavy) while they valiantly played on to add some energy to the awards ceremony. I really appreciated this as the event was loosing its sparkle with the rain and they kept going without a fuss till the last moment and it really helped. Their manager Thomas is always courteous and professional to deal with as well as an excellent musician himself. Book them for the next time you need to get a party started and energise the crowd! "
