"Can not rate highly enough! Every guest said how lovely the music was and the ambience was relaxing. I booked this as a surprise for my partner who loved it and was bought to tears by the music as she walked down the isle. The communication throughout was first rate and they offered me advice and recommendations that suited my wedding and venue. Highly recommended to all... Thank-you for all you did Magenta Strings"

"Fleur and her fellow musician Hugh played a very generous hour and a half of music over two sessions, socialising in between and with the other guests. Their music is great and we got thanks and much positive feedback from Our friends. Generally Fleur performs jazz standards and blues, billie Holiday-Influence, , well punctuated with Latin American and bossa nova sounds from the charts, past and present. Her guitarist Hugh accompanies to a very high professional standard and treats the audience to the occasional virtuoso solo. Fully, highly recommended. "

Your name is painted in Gold to my guests as everyone was so surprised and impressed by your act. The professionalism and fun you created throughout the night was incredible. Absolutely the best money spent on the night, which has lead to memories and pictures that will last a lifetime. The fact I didn’t actually meet you until the night either, and all communication was via email and phone, I felt so comfortable, supported and as if I've known you for a lifetime - so honestly, Thank You SO SO Much! "We want to say how wonderful your email below is, even before we get to the recording. We put a lot of original thinking into the ceremony and had a clear idea of what we wanted to do, including input in three different languages, all of which we managed to carry off thanks to Sonore’s willingness to take on an original piece (which was beautifully played) and to lead a Maori love song. For this reason we are so happy to hear you say that the ceremony will live long in the memory as this means an awful lot to us! We had also worried later in the day that the venue had done you a disservice by leading people into the Engine house and away from your performance, and while that was taking place Elly and I were all around the venue taking photographs. We heard you playing Winter Flowers and worried that there was no-one around at this point to hear it. To know that in fact you will have been preparing this recording therefore gives us a huge boost, not to mention that the recording is wonderful. Thank you so much I and we have sent this on to Lucy, who is rightly so happy with this. Your email and the recording lifted our spirits on this point so much - we were left with no words! And so it just remains to thank you again for your engagement and professionalism at the wedding. We have been very lucky to find you. We wish you all the very best and hope you will be involved in similar events for others in the future. We had never expected that we would benefit from working with a group as dedicated as yours, and for that, we were very lucky."

"After seeing martin a few times at local pub I knew I had to get him for my sons christening. The past gigs I have attended have been amazing. Not only is martin a talented musician but he also interacts with his audience. Not only is he professional he gives the audience the opportunity to have input into his set giving a good balance. I had asked for a specific song and he did it. He made it his own but didnt hinder the original. Ultimately a top performer an all-rounder entertainer. Thank you again for being awesome look forward to seeing you again. "
