"We used the black jacks for our wedding, the were great singers and got everyone up and dancing, several people commented how good they were, our only slight criticism but it’s not their fault at all is that the hall was too small for the size of the band in our opinion they’d be much better in a larger hall/ venue!"

"The Hot Hats are without a doubt simply wonderful. They possess a fantastic ability to combine superb musical talent, lovely charming personalities, the knack for knowing exactly what to play (great set list!) and when to play it, sublime voices blending wonderfully in harmony and frankly were a hugely big part to the brilliant success of my 50th birthday party last month. I recommend them 100%. If anyone is going to book them please can you invite me so I can see them again?!"

"We can not thank Straight Up enough, if you are looking for a wedding band do not look any further! Not only was it a fantastic performance but they came and set up with no hassle, communication was easy and everyone commented on how amazing they were. They interacted with the crowd and made us feel special throughout the whole night, first dance song was incredible and we truly felt that they cared! Dying to see them again, blown away! "

"The Hot Hats played at our 60th birthday party on 26/8/18. We had over 60 guests aged teens to 80s and everyone had a brilliant time, singing and dancing to this fab duo. They are charming young men who went out of their way to ensure that the party was a success. A great selection of music and great singers and musicians. I would have no hesitation in recommending them- a pleasure to deal with, from start to finish. Thank you guys; you made our evening!"

"We booked Tom and Shelly from The Blue Notes after my Mum and step dad saw them at a Wedding Fair at The Plough, Eaton. They were playing there again a few later, so on their recommendation we went to see them. OMG what can we say, they are brilliant!!! On the run up to the wedding Tom was so helpful with timings and when to perform, we left the music choice up to themselves and we couldn’t recommend them enough. We actually didn’t tell anyone that we were having them perform at our wedding, all the guests loved you and you are still a talking point 5 months later. We can’t wait to see you perform again. Thank you so much!"

"What a band, played for us at a private party. Full of energy, great songs the five musicians are amazing, very professional band. Would recommend them to everyone who wants a great night out. We were really impressed with your professional yet friendly nature when talking to us, you made feel really comfortable and knew that we could trust you to play to what the crowd wanted! We would definitely recommend you to other couples who are getting married. The customer interaction before the wedding was also great- a lengthy phonecall about the logistics and regular emails about song requests etc - we absolutely loved that you learnt and played our special song for us!
