"We weren’t sure if we wanted a DJ or a live band for our engagement party… choosing B&M was the best move. They arrived early, set up quietly, and once they started playing, the whole atmosphere changed. It felt like a proper celebration. What impressed me most was how they adjusted their set depending on the crowd. When people were ready to go big - they went big. When we needed a slower moment - they nailed that too. Talented, charismatic, and just genuinely lovely people."

"Everybody at the our 50th celebration loved them. Most people got up to dance. The age range was from 12 to 78. Their repertoire was varied. A live band wins over a disco any day, it might cost more but it's a concert, a performance. A party at which everybody was won over to Soul music"

"Just to say everything was perfect! After doing lots of research and searching for a band to play our wedding we struggled for months to find anything that would be anything near perfect and then I found Somerset Soul after watching their video I knew straight away that was the perfect band for the big day! I was absolutely thrilled when they were available as well. It really was the best day and the band just topped an already perfect day! They turned up on time and quickly got set up and ready. They started with a request that they learned in two weeks ( which was covered beautifully) and continued with a superb set. They were friendly and enthusiastic. Every guest at the wedding really enjoyed them. I couldn't rate the day any higher."

"You guys are AMAZING!!!!!! Seeing you perform at my sister's wedding last night, in Ilfracombe, was a highlight of what was an already perfect day and we all had the time of our lives; you had the entire wedding party up on their feet and many of the girls went home with black soles from taking off their heels so they could dance! Everyone commented on how great you were, how it was the best wedding they had ever been to/best band they'd seen at a wedding and how well your quirky style fitted in with the venue and the relaxed, but fun, atmosphere of Jane and Perry's wedding. Really, really great job, thanks for coming all the way... love the hats...sorry you had to give them up for the majority of the night!"

It was very important to us to get a good band, but you guys weren't just a good band, you were the perfect band. Styles to suit all the guests (everyone raved about you) and great show presence - full of confidence for the ceilidh songs. Lovely touch having us on the dance floor for a special bride/groom dance at the end, followed by an entire wedding Auld Lang Syne. You are an exceptionally talented band. "From beginning to end you were all totally professional. It was such a relief when you took the worry of the evenings schedule of my hands, and applied your experience to make the evening run so smoothly. From the moment you guys sang in the empty marquee as a sound check, I knew that if the caterers failed to turn up and the marquee was to fall around our ears your performance would still make it a fantastic night."
