"The Electric Lights were absolutely fabulous! Very professional but friendly band, they performed amazingly, especially with the weather conditions causing some technical issues. All of the guests at our wedding loved them , they sung our first song beautifully and the dance floor was occupied all night! We have recommended them to so many people, and both us and our guests keep raving about them! Could not have asked for a better band! Perfect!"

"Funky Friday played for us at my 50th this January. They were simply fantastic. Vibrant and enthusiastic, professional yet fun. The guests all commented that they hadn't danced so much in years (including my 85 year old mum!). We cannot speak highly enough of them and would recommend them, particularly if you want a band that will keep everyone buzzing all night long."

"Thank you so much for playing at my wife Beth's 30th birthday in Leeds on Friday. Many of the guests have been asking after you since then and many were much later home on the night than they planned as they were too busy dancing! The choice of songs, the quality of the playing and vocal - it was all excellent, perfect for the party and made the night that much more special. "James and his band were the perfect addition to our wedding celebrations. We had no end of compliments from our guests about how professional and fantastic they were, both for their amazing sound and for how James helped lead the day with announcements and talking to our guests over the mic. James took so much care to make the music right for us, even allowing us to add in two request songs, which added such a special personal touch to our day. James also provided a DJ service for us until the end of the night which had everyone up enjoying themselves on the dancefloor. I would highly recommend James for any wedding or event - an excellent, talented musician who goes above and beyond."

"The singer, Amy, confided to the audience at one point that it was her prerogative to steer the set at her whim, keeping the rest of the band on their toes. And so they moved from bossanova to a favourite ballad and back again via bluesy tunes and toe tapping swing. This she did with seemingly effortless style, and her colleagues were more than up to the challenge. Her voice is beautiful, expressive, powerful. She can deliver heartbreak in like three notes. This quartet of talented professionals works great together. I think the whole audience left with massive grins on their faces."
