""We would definitely recommend them! They worked around our party needs and ensured everything was taken care of. The music these ladies played was exquisite and authentic! They created an excellent party environment for our small theme party." "

"My dream came true! We had arranged to have the most incredible choir to surprise our guests upon entering the barn hall when they were sitting down. The Vocal Works Gospel Choir wowed the guest with several songs before the bridal party arrived…and sounded AMAZING!!! When they performed I was fighting back the tears, it was absolutely fantastic."

"Nick has been playing at our club since 2004 on our wednesday afternoons every 6 weeks and the occasional saturday night, very popular act. In his break he always makes a point of talking to everyone and asking if they want requests, every time he plays here he varies the songs he plays so we never know what is coming next. A really talented musician and a wonderful voice."

"Just wanted to drop you a brief line to say how perfect you guys were on Saturday. The music, the sound and the personality in the performance was all fabulous. We loved it and so did the guests. We’ve had lots of compliments about the band, including from my friend who leads his own big band here in Bristol who said you guys were ‘the real deal’. We had the most amazing day and hope you guys enjoyed it too. Please pass our thanks to all the guys. Best wishes, Ben and Naomi."

"We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help with our wedding on 27th June at Lake Vyrnwy. It went really well. We had a lot of compliments about the string quartet! We were slightly worried beforehand as we hadn't met the DJ or the string quartet or the ceilidh band before and so we were not familiar with their work, but we were really pleased we had hired them all. They all did a fantastic job and new exactly how to please our crowd. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and we believe it was largely down to the great entertainment. Please pass on our gratitude to all the performers. Looking forward to hiring you again at any future events as well as recommending you to others! Once again, thanks for all your hard work! Kind regards, Huw and Kavitha "

"The musician was really talented however did not play the music requested so killed the entire vibe of the party. It was a party and we requested upbeat music alongside DJ but she used her own speaker and mellowed tunes... everyone obviously left the dance floor at this point and had to remind her of the request. She struggled with our requirements despite us being very specific on booking and even noted specific times on contract booking, did not fulfil contract and waste of £550"

Dear Hayley Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent event. I take all reviews seriously, as they help me improve my services, and I appreciate the opportunity to address some inaccuracies in your comments. The full fee you paid was £459, I understand that you felt the music selection did not align with the upbeat atmosphere you envisioned. However, I want to clarify that I arrived well-prepared with a curated playlist that included the specific tracks you requested, such as "Rebel Music" and "Ibiza Classics." Additionally, during our initial conversation, I offered to incorporate lively pop songs like "Havana," "Rather Be," and "Cheerleader" to enhance the party vibe. I left out your request to play Andrew Lloyd Webber/Starlight Express as I felt it didn’t align with the style of your event. Regarding the DJ sound levels, these were extremely loud throughout. I strive to maintain an enjoyable volume throughout my performances. While you noted that the dance floor, it was empty upon my arrival and throughout the ibiza classics with DJ last 30 minute set. I appreciated the positive feedback from many guests which indicates we’re enjoying my performances. As the event progressed, I was attentive to your requests, including the unexpected addition of a dhol drummer for the second set. I performed the "Morni" provided the Bollywood track to the DJ and performed alongside the DJ and which successfully energised the dance floor. I also addressed the issue with my electric violin volume being turned down by DJ immediately after he received feedback from guest complaining he couldn’t hear it! The booking was to perform 3x 30 minute sets I stayed on the dance floor except two 15 minute breaks and performed throughout the 2 hour duration. I made repeated requests to the DJ to play "Ibiza Classics," in line with your preferences, and I took swift action to address all requests throughout the night. The DJ consistently played track’s that were impossible for a violinist to play over such as Milkshake by Kelis. My goal is always to create memorable experiences for my clients, and I have consistently received positive feedback for over 20 years !

"We all know the Vera Lynn favourites from the Wartime era, but this inventive, funny and playful duet takes the music of the 40s and a bit beyond to a new level, including numbers which I'd forgotten about, but loved. They are a perfect harmonic duet, with voices which cover the full range, each bringing their own complimentary personalities to the songs. And what a variety of songs there are! From the tear jerking wartime hits, to the fun and frivolity that also comes with that era: 'I like coffee, I like tea' from the Ink Spots. They don't make life easy for themselves! Some of the lyrics are real tongue twisters, but they bring polish and verve to what they do. Their humour between numbers keeps the whole evening in the Forties 'vibe', and their close harmony gives the Andrews Sisters a run for their money. I'm a child of the 60s, but really enjoyed the evening. If you love close harmony of the era, nostalgia and playful fun you will love this show."

"I want to really thank and recommend Grimshaw Audio/Chris for his work with us on an event at Batley Bulldogs Rugby Stadium. Chris provided exactly what we needed for an event with over 1,000 school children. The equipment/sound he provided was perfect for the needs of the event. The way in which he adapted to OUR last minute changes was hugely professional and courteous with lots of patience. The event which was a first for our organisation to plan had all we needed in terms of sound (across a huge venue) which included individual speakers, school choirs, samba band and soloists. I would really recommend Grimshaw Audio - for our huge event he offered to us all we needed and more. Thank you so much and so sorry this review has taken so long for me to complete. If anyone would want to speak about my recommendation then please feel free to get in touch. "
