"Rating 6/6 : Brilliant Our Wedding at Sopwell House Private Function, St Albans on Sunday 5 May 2024 Uptown Funk were absolutely brilliant and made our wedding so much fun! Everyone was raving about the band and it was so great seeing all guests on the dancefloor the entire time! We made a few requests too (our first dance and Israeli dancing) and they were brilliant for every single song. "Antony played for my Daughters Graduation party in our house… Antony had a fabulous repertoire, from Jazz Standards to contemporary Pop, 2 hours of great music. I would absolutely recommend Antony…Fantastic!"

"They flew all the way from Brighton—a place that’s very special to us—and went above and beyond to make it happen. They came highly recommended by our wedding planner (who had them at her own wedding!), and still managed to exceed all our expectations. We wanted a full day of 80s music, and the Spark Up Band lads delivered in every way—from laid-back tunes in the sunshine during our cocktail hour, to opening the dance floor with our first dance, and keeping the party going late into the night. We had compliments on the music and atmosphere all day, and that’s entirely down to them. Their energy and talent truly brought the whole day together. If you’re looking for a band for your wedding, party, or event, we couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you so much to the whole Spark Up Band crew for making the trip and making the day unforgettable—we’re so grateful!"

"What can we say about South West Band? Apparently not enough. The lads were hands down the highlight of our wedding evening and absolutely smashed it from start to finish. Their back-to-back live band and DJ set had Wylam Brewery bouncing and the dance floor packed all night long – exactly the one big party we'd hoped for. From first conversations with Henry to all the planning with Shaun, we knew we were in safe hands. They completely understood our vibe and somehow managed to bring it to life even better than we imagined. They even humoured my slightly mad idea of joining them on stage for a song, and gave us not one but two first dances, as well as the perfect closing song. The talent and energy from the whole band was unbelievable. We honestly can't thank you enough for the part you played in making our wedding so special. If you're considering booking SWB for your wedding or celebration, you won't regret it!!!"

"Ritchie delivered a 10/10 performance at a small family birthday party. It was a last minute booking and Ritchie responded almost immediately to my request. Throughout the booking process he was very responsive and organising the logistics was straightforward. We agreed on 2 hours of playing and Ritchie played for 2.5 hours accepting requests and trying to satisfy all family members. His playing was fantastic. He had a broad range of songs and his warmth interacting with the family almost made it feel like he was one of us. He invited one younger member of the family to play with him and made the afternoon very special for all. I would highly recommend Ritchie."

"Fleur came with her amazing pianist Pete Billington to sing for my father on his 90th birthday at his care home. She was incredible generous and flexible in the way she arranged the gig beforehand and positive about the whole experience from beginning to end. She played two short sets which were exactly right the whole family and the residents absolutely loved it and there was a fabulous atmosphere. Happiest of all was my father! It took twenty years of him and he joined in and improvised with Fleur and Pete on his harmonica in absolute heaven. Fleur has a beautiful voice and a wonderful warm swingin' delivery it was perfect! 110% Fab would book her and Pete again like a shot. "
