"On 20th July this year Nick Pike provided the music for our West Sussex Golf Club Summer BarBQ and Party, and he really made the whole thing go with a swing. At the start he played some well-known ballads as background music to the meal, and then followed up with some more jazzy numbers which persuaded a good number of guests to dance. His expert solo sax had excellent backing from his own sound system and speakers, and he played almost non-stop from about 2pm to 5pm. Great music beautifully played - thank you Nick! Thanks from the General Committee, West Sussex GC"

"In Edinburgh, this is a rare chance to hear beautiful bossa nova music band. Today I was walking on the street to go somewhere for enduring an another cloudy summer day and right after cross the load the rhythm of bossa nova came out from a Bar near by. I got just carried away with the sound then just went in the bar alone ehich I have never tried to do, lol. (As a married and an introvert Asian woman perhaps) Sérgio was playing guitar with a drummer and their bossa nova playing got me almost tears came up. It was so beautiful moment for me. How deadly I have been wishing to hear bossa nova in Edinburgh. I have no idea why I haven’t been able to find his name when I google any type of bossa nova concert or live event in Edinburgh while I am living here almost 3 years. :-( Their music even brought sunshine back here in Scotland at the end of their performing today. lol. So appreciate for that I could have their great performing today under the sunshine in summer! I agree with the previous reply as he wrote that many people at bar or restaurant don’t listen to the music. However, at least today I can tell you that there was only their music and I in my universe at the moment and it was full of life feeling. Thank you Sérgio!"

"Roman has now played at a couple of our events one very informal, the other an end of season Ball. Quality of the playing was excellent as was the choice of tunes which perfectly matched the occasion. Feedback from other attendees was very positive. Would highly recommend. "

"I’ve just returned from honeymoon and wanted to say a HUGE thank you for playing for us on our wedding day. I’m sorry I didn’t get chance to thank you personally on the actual day, i’ve never been pulled from pillar to post so much in my life!! I also wanted to thank you for playing Sleeping Beauty for my niece, it’s all she’s spoken about since! You really made her day. Match of the day went down a treat too, lots of people asked me if they we’re right in what they heard, I loved it! Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you for making our day so special and I will definitely recommend you to anyone I know who is having a wedding!"

"Mark really helped to make our wedding super special and set the tone with his excellent and engaging music. He was a pleasure throughout, making things easy for us and obviously put in a lot of hard work behind the scenes - his music from the church and the reception was one of the main talking points of the day - people are still talking about his atmospheric rendition of the Game of Thrones theme in the church! We couldn't recommend Mark enough - he obviously loves what he does - and that comes through in all his performances and created a wonderful atmosphere right from the start of our special day."

Thank you Will and Sarah for your great review! I'm really pleased that everyone present enjoyed the music in church, and after at the wedding breakfast in the barn. I particularly enjoyed using the little Victorian organ alongside my keyboard in the church, it gave me the sound variations that I needed to play all of your requested music authentically - yes, Game of Thrones was a blast, and then exiting to Dire Straits 'The Walk of Life' worked brilliantly! "After being let down by our usual band, Lilac was kind enough to secure a last-minute band for our 2018 New Year's Eve celebration, which we appreciated wasn't easy. The band was just what we needed. The dance floor was full all evening and bar earnings doubled from the previous year well before midnight. I warmly recommend this high class act."
