"A great addition to our special day!! Astri Strings played beautifully for our ceremony, in what is quite a nervous an emotional time the ladies played songs that mean a lot to me and my wife and really made the ceremony exactly what we had dreamed of. Jude was excellent ahead of the event, ensuring we had the perfect song list and timings for the day. A number of our guests also commented on how lovely the music was. Many thanks Dec 23 "

I’m so glad I booked you & Max said it was the best surprise ever! It was hearing you play that set me off crying while waiting down the hallway to walk down the aisle. I’m so sorry I didn’t get to chat to you but I just want you to know that you made a great start to kicking off a beautiful day. What was nice, is our guests were still talking about you over breakfast the next morning. "Paula Marie was absolutely amazing, I would recommend her to anyone organising a vintage event. I couldn't have asked for anymore, wonderful voice and really lovely too. "Heard 'The Shooglers' play at a fantastic wedding I was photographing, well I was so desperate to join in the dancing - truly fantastic music ;-) I love the one you did with the mix of Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall - was amazing, tapping my foot and itching to dance - best music at a wedding I’ve ever heard !!!!"

"We hired the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for my 50th birthday and absolutely loved it. Everyone joined in with the dancing and all the dances were explained really well so it was easy to involve everyone – even the children! It was during the immense heatwave that we had in May but this didn’t stop us or the band from having a lot of fun! Thank you so much for an amazing day. We would definitely hire them again."

"Danny was fantastic, we had a range of friends and family at our party from Ages 8-80 and I noticed them all either dancing or tapping their feet at sometime during the evening. Danny voice has a wonderful tone and great to listen to and his performance greatly enhanced our event, I would have no hesitation recommending him to others."

"Two blue played at our wedding during the wedding breakfast. They were fantastic! I love jazz music and so I really wanted to find a live act- they were so affordable and were exactly what we were after. They created a really lovely atmosphere and their sound is beautiful- very skilled musicians! They were so easy to communicate with and were very professional. We requested an obscure song and they learnt it for us with short notice and that was really accommodating and kind of them. They would also sound great for a wedding reception and many other events! Highly recommend them. "
