" WOW!! What a super gig! Peter was great from initial enquiries to the big day, he was happy to chat over txt and very accommodating! They played for us as our guests arrived and whilst we ate dinner- they were brilliant- loads of compliments from all our guests! They also played two request songs which was very special! Highly recommend, we all had the best time!!! Louise and Tim. "

"We cannot recommend Modern Strings enough. From booking the Trio months in advance and right up to our Wedding Day, communications with Sophie were great and we were made to feel nothing was too much trouble. True professionals in every way, what an amazing contribution they made to our Wedding Ceremony and Drinks Reception. They set the exact tone we were looking for on our special day and our Guests were delighted to hear them play and still talk about them. Thank-you Modern Strings – we couldn’t have asked for more! "Eugene and his Carabana Steel Band were excellent. They were all such good musicians and were a delight to have at our party. They arrived in good time and looked so smart in their colourful shirts! I very much hope we will be able to have them again on another occasion! "

"We hired Sunny Steel band for our school summer fate in August. The band was very professional and even took the time to teach the kids some pan! Huge amounts of fun and we've already booked them again for our summer fate this year."

"A truly wonderful choir. We booked them to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Hft charity at Dorchester Abbey in front of 200 people. They were exceptional and I cannot recommend them highly enough"

"We are just back from our honeymoon and the first thing on my to do list was to thank you and your colleagues for helping to make our day so memorable. The sound of The Quartet playing Pachelbel’s Canon as I came into the church was just beautiful and I will always remember it. Thank you so much!"

"Dorchester Strings were incredible! They played beautifully during our drinks receptions, where is was so lovely to have them playing in the background. They mostly played modern music, that we had requested, so many guests commented saying it was like Bridgerton! Hearing them play was one of the highlights of our day, the only downside was we should have had them for longer as we had to go away for photos during part of our drinks receptions. We would highly recommend Dorchester Strings for any event and perfect for any wedding! "

"Phil and James played at our wedding last week and were fantastic. We managed to book them on short notice, and they were great at communicating and accomodating our timings. They were brilliant at playing crowd favourites and keeping the audience engaged, would absolutely recommend!"
