"The band played for my 50th and made us all feel part of a truly fantastic musical experience. They are brilliant! The lead singer worked so well with the audience and even let a family member get up and sing! We felt they were part of our party and brought heart and soul to the table. They had a underground dance feel and we couldn’t believe we actually had some of our favourite songs played by the original artists. They were so understated and nice - it was only after they finished that we found out who they were. (-:"

"When you organise a party it's always a worry that you get the band right and people genuinely enjoy themselves. Thank you so much The Road Runners for all the compliments that I received about how great YOU are! We had a fantastic evening and even the non-dancers were very enthused about your set. Your lead singer has an amazing ability yo cross genres and ranges and dis so incredibly well. If I have anything else that needs a band, I'm coming to you!"

"Well where do we start, from the first point of contact with Carley she was so professional and down to earth on the telephone and so polite in her emails, we clicked straight away on the telephone with the same music interests. The quote came over promptly with a variety of options to suit our needs, there was no pressure put on us at all to decide. However, as first impressions stick we made our decision straight away to book our ceremony, at a later date we were invited to the live band performance in Daventry, we were made to feel very welcome with other couples but, even more amazed by Carley’s live voice, hearing her in person we soon upgraded our original package, nothing was too much troubled for her to do. Help, support and song advice were given throughout and even a new song could be learnt for our special day. There is a vast range of songs on the website to choose from to suit all musical tastes. Our special day was in July 2023 3at the Mythe Barn, it was made so memorable by the acoustic duo Carley & Matt one we will never forget, with 3 x 45 minute sessions throughout ceremony, drinks and wedding breakfast. Carley sang me in, this was such an emotional but, magical walk down the isle not only seeing my future husband at the end but, our favourite song with Carly's voice that just sung volumes in the room, Matt was outstanding on the guitar, we had a lot of keen guitarists who thought you were amazing, you are a perfect couple and duo in such harmony together, you have so much passion for what you do it really does show. All our guests enjoyed listening to the live duo and have not stopped commenting since our wedding day on both your performances. Thank you so much for making our day extra special, we highly recommend you both to anyone and we hope to meet you again at another occasion but, for now we continue to follow your social media journey and can not wait to listen to your new tracks in the near future. "A few friends and I went to see G Celtic Folk Rock Band in Pontefract on Friday. What a fantastic talented bunch of musicians these guys are. They delivered punchy folk rock songs, which are mostly their own with a few individual interpretations of some classics throughout the night. Brilliant stuff and highly entertaining. A great venue too, and cannot wait for them to return."

"The most amazing music experience for our wedding day, setting the scene as though we were in a fairytale. I cannot recommend Kim and the string quartet enough for how immaculate the music was, and for playing for a considerably large chunk of the day. Of all the elements of the wedding day, we had by far the most comments about how incredible the string quartet were. With such a vast array of music in their repertoire it made it such an enjoyable experience to hear the different songs throughout the day. Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable!"

"Had the absolute pleasure of working with Shakers Gold at Believe Christmas Parties throughout the first three weeks of December. So impressed with how professional, friendly and helpful they were in the build-up to the event and throughout - nothing was too much trouble and their main priority was our guests and ensuring that they had the best experience possible, which helped in putting our minds at ease during a very stressful period. Very engaging and a huge hit with our guests (proven by a full dance floor every evening!) Would definitely recommend for any event where a fantastic live band is needed. Thank you so much again :) x"
