"I hired The Line Up to play at my husbands surprise 40th birthday party. I can’t recommend the band enough, nothing was too much trouble ( they even dressed up as Peaky Blinders in keeping with the theme of the party). They read the room and knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor, I’ve had so many positive comments about the band from the party guests and I can honestly say I would hire them again in a heart beat!"

"I can't thank you all enough for the stellar performance you put on at our Wedding! All of our guests where raving about how much they enjoyed the show and how it was the icing on top of what had already been a brilliant day! Paul was so professional and extremely helpful throughout and didn't bat an eye at how dippy and forgetful I had become with the stress of planning a Wedding! "Thursday night was a blast. Couldn’t have gone any better! On Thursday the 25th of January, the Exeter Caledonian Society hosted a Burns Night Ball accompanied by the Black Velvet Band. The band was brilliant. Their musical prowess, stamina and all round musicianship was a joy to work with - and to listen to - making the night ever better. I am so thankful for what they did. The band is easy to work with, knowledgeable about timings and can cater to any requirements. "

"Matt & Co. provided the live music for our 50th Wedding Anniversary party. They were excellent - as shown by the fact that the dancefloor was full from the first song to the last. There were dancers from 3 years of age to 80 and everyone had a fantastic time. Well done The Rockpins - Please play on!"

"This really was a last minute booking. I only made contact with Roman the day before we required him but he was a pleasure to deal with and making the necessary arrangements was very easy. Roman is an accomplished musician who judged his audience well and played exactly the right blend of music. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Roman to anybody seeking a very professional piano player for their function."

"We booked them for our wedding and they were amazing! We would definitely recommend them. Very talented musicians, tight, exciting set from classics to up to date tunes to get everyone dancing! They communicated to us the whole time through, when we had to keep changing the date due to the pandemic. The interaction with the audience was fantastic! They were kind enough to let me play my saxophone to surprise the groom and guests. They made our evening reception so special! Thank you!!"
