Review Centre: Pop Bands

"Golden Gospel sang at the Celebration of my husband’s life, attended by over 300 people. It was an emotional occasion, but one which I intended to be uplifting, and reflective of his huge vitality and vibrant spirit. A gospel choir had been Nick’s request, some months previously, and it was really important to me that I delivered on that. In fact, Golden Gospel delivered - they were fabulous. The afternoon was full of joy, laughter and tapping feet. Jules was great to work with when planning the music, responding to my (many) questions and sending me lots of clips of the choir in action; and the performance on the day was magical. Nick would have loved it. Thank you so much for making a difficult day so very wonderful."

"My husband and I recently got married and had the band as the night entertainment. They were absolutely fab!!! Excellent band, sound amazing, strong vocals. Everybody loved the selection of music. Overall fantastic and we will definitely recommend."

"Shakers Gold played at my Daughters wedding and being a Musician myself I did spend hours looking at the internet trying to find the right band. I can now save you that Time. Book Shakers Gold you cannot go wrong. A great bunch of people to deal with and highly talented Musicians with a very professional presentation of all the songs that will get your party dancing until the end of the evening. "The covered played at our Ladies Night last weekend, they were absolutely fantastic, we had the 6 piece set up and each and every member of the band was amazing. They played all of the dance floor classics we could have asked for and when we asked for something not in their planned line up they added it on and played it flawlessly. We can’t recommend them highly enough. All of our guests commented on the great band choice and after looking over so many options we were so pleased to have made the right choice. Sarah the lead singer was amazing, she joined us on the dance floor and sang her heart out at the same time. What a voice! We can’t thank you guys enough, you had the dance floor full from start to finish, even having to compete with the mock casino you managed to keep the dance floor full! Thank you again, we’d definitely rehire for another event!"

"We have a firm reputation for having some of the best party function bands on a Fiday and Saturday. The Marvellous Motown Souls are up there with our top acts and always have people dancing. They get here early enough to setup some very impressive lights, its not just the band you get, its a party atmosphere for sure. Liz is great with the crowd and always goes out of her way to make it special for any birthday or hen parties we have in on the night. The sets are kept fresh each time and they often play acoustic as an extra for free if the mood suits which people love and we appreciate. We would recommenced booking this band with no question, lovely reliable people and a pleasure to deal with. :)"

"I've seen this wonderful band play at a couple of events now and they are brilliant. Val's voice is the best in the business and she so easily 'nails it' in every genre. I'd recommend them to anyone wanting their guests up and dancing. They will give you a fun and memorable night."

"I had an awesome birthday party thanks to the VIP Formula. The communication with the group before the event was impeccable, and I felt at ease immediately. During the event, the band was awesome and had the room dancing immediately. Had such a great time thanks to these guys, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a latin band."

"Kirsty was fantastic from start to finish! She made the whole process from booking, to planning, to the actual night itself seamless and she really put us at ease. There was a great mix of music catering to all sorts of different tastes, but Kirsty also did a great job at reading the room and catering to those on the dance floor too. Thank you so much!"

"Another great performance at the Marple Bridge summer street party in front of around 900 people. This is the fourth year this live band has played for us and they were absolutely awesome. They are a great bunch of lads and sound fantastic. "
