"Ali was so amazing! We had her booked all day for our wedding from guests arriving right through to our first dance and i do not have a bad word to say! She travelled all the way to Essex for our wedding and was just so incredible her voice is unreal, everything and more you would want for your wedding or event she really made our wedding so special! Ali and her partner are both such lovely people! All of our guests commented on how beautiful not only she is but how amazing her voice is too! And my little girl was in love with her! She filled the room with so much love with her amazing voice! Me and Antony both can't thank enough for singing on our special day! "

"Ella Fitzgerald was born on 25 April 1917. She didn't have the easiest of starts to life - losing both parents and making a living on the streets as a teenager. She had hopes of becoming a dancer but had no training. What she did have was the gift of the smoothest, silkiest voice Jazz has known with the most delicate of touches - to hear Ella was to be kissed on the cheek by the lightest of breezes. Over her career she recorded 2,000 songs many of which are now Jazz standards - a fact in part due to the Fitzgerald imprimatur. Annette Gregory has a voice that is naturally lower in pitch than Ella’s and wisely she does not attempt a tribute act that imitates - rather her performance is a celebration of Ella’s legacy and the songs that will be sung and heard for as long as humans live on this planet. For this gig she was to have been accompanied by a quartet but unfortunately the bassist and sax player were caught up in a traffic standstill on the M6, but the piano (John) and drums (Matt) backing meant the stripped down support ensured that we focused on the songs. Just as Annette does not try to sound like Ella, neither does she slavishly follow her interpretations. This was strikingly apparent in songs such as “Miss Otis Regrets” and “The Man I Love” (which was more of a rocking blues than the familiar ballad). Annette's delivery is characterised by controlled, fluent and delicate phrasing and a pair of ballads - “When a Woman Loves a Man” and “Embraceable You” - were particularly pleasing. Let's hope that Annette and the full quartet make it back to Buxton soon! (10 / 10)"

"Southwest band played at our wedding at Yorkshire wedding they were absolutely brilliant! All the guests commented how fab they were! Everyone was dancing all night! The last song they played was wonderwall not realising it was my aisle song! How amazing! Would 100% recommend"

"Mads was amazing at our wedding! We contacted Mads with relatively short notice having been let down by another musician. And I am so glad we did. Her enthusiasm from our first discussion made me feel so excited and she didn’t disappoint on the day, bringing all of the energy and happy vibes! Mads was fab for both a lounge set during our wedding breakfast and then getting the party started during our cocktail hour after dinner. Highly recommend!!"

"Jan, Janet and their sons came to entertain us at Norman's 60th Birthday last Saturday and were absolutely marvellous. Everybody enjoyed the music which was a mixture of jazz and Latin. It was a fabulous edition to a great party, and everyone commented on what great live music it was. They are very professional, arrived on time and played requests as well. We would highly recommend their services to make an event really special."

"Adam played absolutely beautifully at our wedding - both the classical pieces at the ceremony and the well-known popular music (e.g. from musicals and old favourites) at the dinner. He was punctual, thoroughly professional and very accommodating. We could not have hoped for better."

"Jenny came to sing at our daughter’s 18th on the 18/5/24. We had searched the internet and came across a website called last minute musicians. We trawled through listening to different artists and then we across Jenny. We were blown away straight away. We messaged Jenny and her response was so quick. We talked about the setting and the date and booked Jenny in. Myself and my daughter started following on social media and knew we weren’t going to disappointed. Then as the date for closer Jenny started sending through playlist. Now this is the point that whatever my daughter suggested Jenny agreed. The time and effort Jenny took to make sure my daughter got what she wanted was second to none. Jenny was amazing and the guests from the party are still talking about ‘The singer’ Thank you Jenny for helping make my daughter’s 18th a day to remember."
