They kept my guests entertained for the cocktail hour and the whole evening, played our first dance BEAUTIFULLY and kept the night going. They played absolutely beautifully and many of our guests were raving about them. "Hired Sunny Steel Band for our postponed Easter Dinner for our boarding students. They were amazing and created just the right atmosphere for our Hawaiian themed evening. I would definitely book them again and would recommend them to anyone!"

"I booked them for my 50th. What a fantastic group! Mitch was in regular contact from the start. I told him what I wanted and they delivered. The band had my guests on their feet dancing, singing but most importantly smiling from the moment they entered. I had them walk in playing past the big windows at the venue as a surprise. My guests loved it. Mitch came over really early and had a look at the entrances in his normal clothes so not to give the game away. He even messaged me from their 'dressing room' (other bar area!) to say guests were still arriving so they would hold on for a bit before the surprise entrance. So professional and thoughtful. The band are really lovely smiley people. I had them acoustic and 'roaming' there was no PA system needed. They were jolly, engaging and their music was superb. In the second set the drummers rocked up on stilts wearing trousers with LEDs on! I had requested 'You'll Never Walk Alone' as the last piece of the set as we are mostly a group of die hard Liverpool supporters. They started slow as per normal, but then put a ska twist on it as Mitch was aware of my love of SKA. It was amazing, everyone was bopping around and singing. I have had messages from everyone at the party saying how amazing the band were. People will be talking about the performance for a long time. Safe to say the entertainment made my 50th party special, unforgettable and fun. I'm so grateful to Mitch and the guys and girl. I love them!!!"

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. Best wishes for all the busy times to come,"

"I hired Rhys to play at a surprise 50th birthday party. He did not disappoint at all. So engaged with the audience and he covered all requests. We danced, we sang, we laughed and he made the party truly a night to remember.. An absolute professional, really easy to communicate with and responded to all my questions really quickly. Don't hesitate to book Rhys, absolutely brilliant and thoroughly nice guy too xx"

"I've wanted to try live music in our little Country pub for the longest time and Lucy and Jack were so great I'll definitely be having them back again and again. Engaging, entertaining, and had people up dancing all night. Can't recommend enough!"

"Loretta and her fantastic band played at my Art-Party VIP Event during the 2018 Kensington & Chelsea Art Weekend. Her band consists of seasoned professionals with every area of set up and rehearsal meticulously coordinated. Through her wonderful repertoire of songs, the singer reached out to the most sophisticated VIP as well as the more ordinary audience. She has universal appreciation. Her fabulous voice and radiant personality, backed up by fine musicians, brings everybody together for a great party. I would not hesitate to recommend Groove Stars for bookings. Without a doubt, they head up one of the very best live acts in London."
