Review Centre: Background Music Bands

"I booked Tom and his band a couple of weeks before my wedding as a surprise for my groom. Communication was quick and easy, booking was really simple and they met all of my requests (including setting up in half the time they would usually do so that they could avoid being spotted by the groom!) The music was fantastic, went down very well with our guests who commented on how perfect an accompaniment the music was to our drinks reception. They even got the kids having a boogie! Thanks so much guys, definitely highly recommended by us!!! "

Quite a few of our guests said they were left astounded by your performance. So full of energy, passion and talent. A massive sound. Basically not what you normally get at a wedding. So yes, we did get engaged at one of your gigs. You were headline at our wedding. I’m now thinking we have our 40th birthdays coming up so we may well be making further enquiries with you. "Absolutely perfect band for our tropical themed party! They created an amazing atmosphere where people could chat and dance (and even limbo). The guests were fascinated by the drums and Bethany was so good, taking the time to explain how they worked to my interested toddler (and uncle). Couldn't be happier with the band, they made the day so special! Highly recommended, thanks so much zzz"

"Lewis and I just wanted to extend a huge thank you to you and the sound guy for such a great evening's entertainment. So many of our guests remarked on how well you interacted with the audience - wandering around the room and out on to the terrace when the dance floor was quiet... very unusual and worked wonderfully well. Also can you apologise to your sound guy as I believe my dad asked if he could stay on past 1 thinking he was a friend of ours as opposed to a supplier so sorry about that as I'm sure he'd had just about enough by 1am! Thanks again Paul, Tiffany"

"If you’re looking for the best wedding band ever!!! Then look no further. They recently played at our wedding & everyone I have spoken to since, have said how amazing they were & how they made the night. Set list was brilliant & the dance floor was full all night. Trying to think of an excuse to have a party to get them back!!!"

"It was a fabulous night, a joy to experience and your music was the icing on the cake. Everybody without exception loved the band and most of them danced their soxx off! The music was superb, the mix of repertoire perfect and the musicians jelled so well together, with great tempos, dynamics and arrangements and the backing vocals were superb. We all figure that the music on Sunday night was just about as good as it gets. Many of our guests said that this was the best band they have ever seen and I agree, you are World class! (and, over 50+ years, I've seen them all)."

"I had been planning our garden party for well over a year, I had the Marquee the food and beer tents sorted just needed entertainment. After a-lot of researching I came across this duo. From first contact with Tom, to actually meeting them on the day of our Party everything went smoothly. The weather tried its best to dampen the mood but with Tom and Bobbi singing their hearts out (and not forgetting DJ’ing) they had the crowd on their feet dancing the night away . Our garden party will be talked about and remembered for a long time. I can honestly say if you want the BEST entertainment for any type of party I highly recommend Beats and Bobs!"
