"The Bilberries were on superb/top form last night at The Plough pub, Coldharbour. Hugely entertaining, enjoyable and, above all, fun. I love their unique “folk” twist on some well known classics. Can’t wait for the next gig! "

"I engaged Gareth to accompany two choirs and soloists in a fundraising concert in aid of Macmillan cancer. He was SUPERB in every way with experience in bringing out the best in all performers from the professionals to the amateurs. In particular, his musicianship, sensitivity, ability to extemporise sympathetically and enhance any performance. Gareth's musical skills have to be heard and witnessed to be understood for how his playing transforms and securely underpins the Music and the people performing. He also accompanied me in a gorgeous flute and piano piece 'song for my mother ' by Geoff Easles. The Jazz style in this piece highlighted another wonderful aspect of Gareth's abilities - to play jazz in a free and effortless way . On a personal level Gareth is also very professional and approachable and reliable . The adult choir for those with learning disabilities were boosted in their confidence and musicality to sing with him too. It was a joy to watch them and they received a standing ovation! Simply FANTASTIC , EXCELLENT, NO HESITATION to RECOMMEND except that he might not be so available the next time I need him ! Thank you Gareth. Veronica Austin- concert organiser . "

"You guys were hands down one of the best band we've seen and we can't thank you enough for being part of our big day. You really brought the party to life and it was amazing to see all our friends and family dancing the night away. Our muso friends were particularly impressed by how good you guys were live! "James and the guys were just incredible. We invited our friends to a secret wedding (disguised as a christening) as we wanted an informal party atmosphere and from the very first chat, James grasped what we were wanting and produced an amazing Neo Soul evening starting with jazz and working through to funk classics. We really couldn't have asked for more. The band, the music, the dj sets, the whole thing was just brilliant and we want to do it all again!"

"We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the band for playing on our special day. We really appreciate how flexible you've been throughout the pandemic to ensure that you were able to play for us. I think it's safe to say that you all smashed it, and hopefully you enjoyed playing a full set to a proper crowd. We have had so much positive feedback about both the duo set and the two band sets, we couldn't be happier with how the day went and you guys really made massive difference to our reception and we are so glad we waited to see you in full swing."
