"Had a fabulous night with the band the score as our main entertainment. The guys were very professional and the choice of songs had everyone on the dance floor. Would not hesitate to recommend these four guys at any venue."

"What an amazing duo these two are! Andy and Chris just performed a show for us on 30 April to a paying audience and there was not one person sitting down for most of the night. The music they performed was amazing along with their professionalism during the course of the night and I have to say, their choice of music when DJ'ing was absolutely brilliant. Took me back a few years to some great memories. Well done you guys, you're absolutely amazing and I'll be having you back again at some point soon! "

"Rating 5/6 : Very Enjoyable Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo. "We had the absolute pleasure of having Dizzy Brasscals play two fantastic sets at our wedding on 22/06/2024, and we couldn't be happier! During our wedding breakfast, their first set was a hit creating the perfect atmosphere for our guests with most clapping and dancing along. The highlight of the evening was their second set alongside our DJ, where they performed as a roaming brass band, energizing the dancefloor and making the night unforgettable. If you're looking for a top-notch wedding band and something a little different, we highly recommend Dizzy Brasscals for their incredible talent and engaging performance."

"John and his band did a TREMENDOUS job at our winter wedding two weeks ago. Our guests were mainly from the Netherlands, therefore our choice of band was very important to us, considering the fact that our guests cannot sing along to every English song. However, John and his band really know how to entertain any crowd, so friendly, funny, and really understood the vibe and how to start the party! I would recommend them without hesitation, thanks again for the amazing evening🥰"

"Just a quick note to say a massive thank you to you and the band for last Friday. Your music brought the mood and atmosphere together and certainly helped in creating the feel-good factor at our wedding. You guys really were great and I think will likely have a few contacts from our guests in the future to play at their events! Thanks again. "

" Somerset Soul and Rebecca performed at our wedding in December 2021 and they were absolutely fantastic. Rebecca is a great singer and the band are superb musicians - there were great guitar solos. At the end of the evening and following the wedding, so many of our guests told us that they thought they were a great wedding band, and the dancefloor was full for the whole evening. They responded and reacted to the crowd expertly. The set list was a great selection of genres and decades, enjoyed by 3 generations. Rhona, their manager, was great to deal with before the wedding - she asked us questions, she shared an example set list, and she arranged for the first dance to be played."
