"Absolutely fantastic, very polite and professional, more than happy to play requests, even let my mum (the bride) have a little go on the drums which made her day as all she ever wanted was a steel band at her wedding. Highly recommended"

"Hi Anne, my apologies for not getting in touch sooner but just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding!! It sounded incredible and really suited the surrounds, my only regret is as myself and Emma were outside for a large period of the drinks reception, we didn't get to hear more but we had some lovely comments from guests. I hope that the groomsmen and venue looked after you on the day and thank you once again for being part of our day."

"We would like to thank Alfie and James for stepping in at the last minute to play for us at our campsite for our annual fishing match competition presentation evening. Everyone had a great night and thoroughly enjoyed the music. We have already been asked if we can bring them back for our next season at Hereford Camping and Caravanning Club Site. "

"Many thanks for making the evening a wonderful event. Everyone had enjoyed themselves thoroughly and had a fantastic evening. Your band really made a difference and was the cherry on top of the event. I have arranged with our admin guys the cheque which has been sent today. Do you perform in the west country at all? "I saw Samson 65 at a friends wedding. They were a great act. A good variation in their set between pop and rock and all the songs were played professionally. I would recommend Samson 65 to anyone who was wanting a class act for their special occasion."

"The AfterParty played an amazing 80s themed set for my 30th birthday. Louise communicated brilliantly and was in touch immediately after booking. She could not have been more considerate, particularly around timings and set up. They were completely punctual and flawlessly well organised and got themselves set up with minimum fuss. On the night when things were running slightly late they could not have been more understanding or accommodating. They even let my parents use their PA system for speeches. Anyway, onto the music. The band played BRILLIANTLY, they got everyone onto the dance floor and the lights (which they bring with them) are also fab. The demo videos do not do them justice, they were fantastic. All in all they made the night for me and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a party band. Thank you The AfterParty! "

"Thank you for making our wedding reception so memorable. Without exception all our guests thought you were amazing. We struck gold finding you. Totally fitted in with our chilled out, intimate wedding, good-time atmosphere. In fact added so much to it. Thanks for fulfilling all our requests and for completely exceeding all our expectations. Favourite moments have to be Sweet Child o Mine and Sit Down. Thankfully you weren’t put off by our over enthusiastic “singing” and “dancing”! An all round very capable, dynamic and very friendly wedding duo who managed to cope with our rather chaotic celebrations. Our only disappointment was that it all had to end! I’ve never known an acoustic wedding band have to do an encore before. You’re lucky the guests actually let you leave! We’ll definitely be hoping to see you again soon. Thanks again."

"Kip and the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band played two fabulous sets at our wedding reception. Our friends don't need too much encouragement to get up and dancing, but the band made sure the floor was always full of happy, smiling people. Everyone had a blast and even those who had never done a ceilidh before declared themselves fully converted by the end of the evening. It was wonderful!"

"What a fantastic singer he is as Frank Sinatra, he made my wedding day go off superbly. People haven’t stopped talking about it and with him there singing I achieved the atmosphere I was looking for. Everyone thought he was fabulous so I can’t thank him enough for making my day!"

"I booked the Smokin Mirrors for my wedding and it was MAGICAL. The whole event was running behind and they were so flexible about it, they were prompt, understanding, and they ROCKED! We hired them for the drinks reception and we hired a larger band for after dinner...I received so many more compliments about these women than the 10 piece band we had later on. I should have just held on to them for the whole day! "
