"Ah what can I say about these guys, they’re amazing! They performed at my mums surprise 50th and they were absolutely fantastic! Great to contact, arrived on time, stayed late, let us use their speakers and made my mum feel incredibly special. That’s all with the music being great, fab set with great vocals. They managed to get everyone up and dancing - it’s still being talked about now. I would highly recommend them and I can’t wait to book them again in the future"

" I was lucky enough to hire Lauren during an annual fundraiser I organized for a nonprofit organization I work for. Lauren was absolutely amazing in every aspect. It was very easy to communicate with her prior to the event. Any request I had for her- she made it happen. She's a very talented and beautiful vocalist, as well as a professional and hard-working lady. All the feedback I got from all the guests was extremely positive as well. I will absolutely hire her again for any future events I'm going to plan."

You played songs that everyone knew and loved and got the party started even at 1:30 in the afternoon! "Hi Horizon, What a fabulous band you all make excellent voices, excellent musicians… You provide an excellent evenings entertainment. I haven't danced for ages but you had me up on the floor. You are so thoroughly recommended, and hopefully some one in the know will give you a break. Shame not many people in the club last night 24/7/10, but they don't know a good thing when it happens. "We had had a lot of contact with Annika beforehand. She was very helpful indeed. We gave her a play list which she subsequently adapted afater liaising with us. The idea was to get people dancing. Annika brought a PA early so that we could play recorded music, set it up and showed us how to use it . Later on the band arrived and set up while we were eating without disturbing anyone and played 2 hours of music with a 30 min break. It was an excellent performance. They had everyone dancing. The whole Wedding Celebration went well. Everyone had a great time and the band were a major contributor to that. They were superb."

"Funky Friday played for us at my 50th this January. They were simply fantastic. Vibrant and enthusiastic, professional yet fun. The guests all commented that they hadn't danced so much in years (including my 85 year old mum!). We cannot speak highly enough of them and would recommend them, particularly if you want a band that will keep everyone buzzing all night long."

"These guys were amazing from day one to wedding day, and beyond! We had been debating whether to get a band for our wedding and after meeting Dan and Charlotte at a few wedding fayres, we always kept circling back to them. Their vibe and energy suited our wedding perfectly! We opted to book them for the entire day and they made the experience so smooth and took so much stress away from us, which was a godsend as we had so much to sort! Their repertoire is very extensive and covered a good amount of our guest's song requests as well which was great! We tasked Better Together Acoustic Duo with learning not one but two songs for our wedding, my walking down the aisle song and our first dance song. They absolutely smashed both, I wish I could have bottled the songs to hear them again and again! They spent the whole day with smiles on their faces and nothing was too much, even when our timings slipped they were understanding and just went with the flow! No dramas here! Would highly recommend them for any event. We've definitely found a band we'll happily see again and again!"

"We saw Larry and the Hot Crossed Buns at a party at the Mesmerist and we were hooked. Chaz (the frontman) is super talented, as well as having a great ability to read the crowd. His music is versatile and it attracts people of all ages and musical tastes. More importantly the quality of the music and the arrangements are fantastic. I will certainly follow Chaz and his bands as they are a type of medicine for the soul."
