"The music was everything we dreamt of and more. The weather on the day was definitely not on our side but everyone adapted so well and we all still had the most incredible time. In particular the ceremony music was so heartfelt and everyone has commented on how much they enjoyed it. Thank you for all of your help and support to give us the most magical day. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a string trio for their wedding day. "

"James and his band were absolutely brilliant! Everybody at the party danced the night away and nobody wanted them to end. James was very professional checking noise levels with me and played background music as requested. The playlist was fabulous and mostly what I had agreed with him. The band have a lot of fans in this village now! "

"Francesca wowed a jazz loving crowd at our charity fundraiser in North London. Her sultry vocals put her unique stamp on standards like ‘All of me’ and ‘My funny Valentine’ and she also introduced us to her own prodigious song-writing talent with tracks from her recently released album “Devil’s Door”.  A very special evening."

"Sebastian played the organ for us at our wedding . The music helped make the wedding ceremony beautiful including playing a special piece for us during signing the register and Sebastian kindly learned two new hymns for us. Would recommend Sebastian to anyone! "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Viv’s 50th Birthday Ceilidh – January 2025 We had an amazing evening. Dan, Ned and Heather were brilliant. Firstly Dan was incredibly helpful and reassuring when I spoke to him a few weeks in advance. He was very relaxed but also incredibly reassuring that it would be fun and go well! He was very warm and I felt ‘everything would be alright’! They came very promptly and set up very unobtrusively. The music was perfect and Ned was a fantastic caller. He drew people in so well and had a very relaxed manner, he made it very enjoyable. Dan on the guitar and Heather on the fiddle were excellent! We had a fantastic evening of dancing with them. So many of our guests commented on how they made it such fun. They made it a great success. I highly recommend them."
