"What lovely guys. What really set them apart was how naturally they engaged with guests. They read the room perfectly, adjusted their set on the fly, and created moments that felt personal rather than staged. People were smiling, singing along, and stopping them afterward to ask where we’d found them. Professional, flexible, and genuinely fun to have around, this band elevated the entire atmosphere of our wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for live music that feels fresh, interactive, and memorable."

Lucy in her twenties was amazed getting you to play Snow Patrol with zero practice and Hildergard 90+ loved your song choice and guitar playing !! My boys in their 30s thought you were super cool and I was thrilled with my special songs and a rendition of Happy Birthday. It was lovely and we will definitely book you again. "Samantha Lloyd is one of the most versatileversatile artists I have seen. She can cover an incredibly broad range of artists and genres seamlessly tailoring her sets towards the audience before her. She has an incredible ability to remain proffessional regardless of the distrations that are presented before her during a live performance. Her interactions with the audience are entertaining but proffessional always ensuring they feel like a part of the performance. You can guarantee that you will have a good show whenever you see her perform."

"If you read only ONE line of this review...BOOK THE VINTAGE VOCALIST FOR YOUR EVENT! From the initial phone contact with Paula to her saying goodbye on the day, our time and experience was 100% positive in every way. My wife and I were able to choose from a huge set list of songs from various musical era's and genre's and Paula seamlessly organised all our favourites into a cracking party playlist for the wedding reception. By the third song, she had guests up dancing and by the second set, my 86 year old Auntie (who walks with two sticks), was throwing her shapes on the dance floor! Paula absolutely made our wedding day! We had guests from the age of 7 to 86 and we can honestly say that each and every one of them loved Paula's performance. Many spoke to her themselves to thank and praise her and many more told us how impressed they were and that they'd be either booking her themselves or would attend venues she'd be performing at in the future! Paula looked stunning in her classy vintage dress and her fabulous voice entertained our party and the local York residents, who sat out on their apartment balconies with a drink to lap up the free entertainment! What makes Paula so special, is that she instantly felt like a friend and a guest, not a singer we'd booked for our wedding entertainment. Her warm, open and down-to-earth personality, instantly puts you at ease and she has a brilliant Yorkshire accent and sense of humour! I loved that as I returned from the bar with a drink to keep her refreshed during her break, I found Paula sat amongst all my family, laughing and joking. We felt happy to see her enjoying the day with us and confident that our entertainment was in good hands. Our 8 year old son was desperate to sing a duet with Paula and we loved how accommodating and kind she was. Some artists would be precious about their professional set being gatecrashed unexpectedly, but Paula embraced the request and handed him his own microphone! Our family really liked and admired her for going with the flow and making the day special for everyone. So if you're considering booking The Vintage Vocalist and need a little persuasion to choose this incredibly talented Yorkshire lass, let me leave you with this... I showed my son the official wedding photo's and laughed at how happy he looked on his photo's with Paula and he turned to me and said... "What you laughing at Mummy?...I was living my BEST LIFE that day!!" I think coming from an 8 year old boy...that says it all."

"Leon was amazing!! Really great guy, everyone of our wedding guests were so impressed with his performance! Would definitely recommend him. He was really professional from start to finish and was quick to reply when I had any queries. He also learnt our first dance song, which he sang and played amazingly."

"The band was warm and friendly. There was a small electrical hiccup at the beginning but this was sorted. They played exceptionally well. Loved this and made the party go extremely well."
