"Thank you Rollo for performing at my mums surprise 60th birthday party at such last minute!! Everyone throughly enjoyed your sets and said how brilliant you were. There were lots of songs we could all sing along and dance to. Thanks for accepting some requests that I knew my mum would enjoy! "I met Gareth after having had a fairly comprehensive email correspondence with him, where we had discussed exactly I would like to achieve and what he felt he could offer. It felt very promising, but I knew the moment I saw him that he was absolutely right for this difficult occasion. When he sat down at the organ in the Chapel and rattled off several really wonderful pieces I found out how really special he is and that I had been really lucky to pick him. He had agreed to work with me on a very personal programme of music including a performance of songs with another professional soloist - a mini concert (Purcell and Duparc). The result turned out to be quite stunning with beautifully performed pieces from them both, as if they had worked together for years. Having played various gorgeous pieces throughout, at the end, he gave us his adaptation of Vaughan Williams Lark Ascending which was just beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble and I have received so many letters from people attending who said how much they enjoyed the music that day. Thank you Gareth for everything you did. I would always recommend you, because music is in your bones, you play like a dream and are an utter professional. Frances"

"We booked the Hot Hats for our wedding evening party after seeing them play at a friend’s own reception. They’re a fantastically engaging live act, interactive and hugely talented with great musical range. They’re also super friendly, organised and great value. I’ve also booked them for a works party previously and they were awesome there, too! Music from a wide range of periods from the ‘60s onwards makes them a great choice for multi-generational get-togethers, and Alfie is great to work with. Huge thanks to them both for making our special day even more special!"

"Ollie sang at my husband's 60th birthday party with very little notice. Our original singer had cancelled and we only had a few days to arrange a replacement. Having read Ollies reviews and watched his videos we knew he would be perfect for our party. Ollie responded promptly and provided a comprehensive list of songs for us to look through and let us choose the ones we liked. He arrived promptly on the evening and set up quickly. Ollie has a great voice and plays guitar brilliantly. It really made the party very special having him there and so many of our guests commented on how good he was. Thanks Ollie! "

"I wanted to write and thank you for your major part in making my 50th birthday party such a success, the round of applause and cheers at the end summed up everyone’s appreciation of your talent. Getting the balance right in terms of volume so people can enjoy the music but also have conversations is a major challenge but with the way you played, it was spot on!"

"At short Notice Andrew played the pipes at a veterans funeral. To say the family, friends and Veterans were overwhelmed was an understatement. Immaculately turned out and the music he played for the family of a late veteran was very apt and note perfect. I would highly recommend Pipe Major Andrew Paton for any event whether it be Funerals, Wedding, Events etc... Absolutely outstanding..."
