"Lunar Acoustic played at our wedding and it was just wonderful! They learned new songs for us and played them perfectly. We had a father daughter dance, a first dance and a family dance. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Everyone commented on how good these two were. They played a range of beautiful songs, catering to all tastes and making sure all of our guests had a chance to dance and sing along. They were just a perfect addition to our day and I’m so glad we chose these two to get our night started! Thank you so much."

"They were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full all night, and they interacted with guests so well. One of our nephews was invited on stage with them for a guitar solo which he LOVED and was such a nice touch. Can't recommend Straight Up enough. "

"It is difficult to capture just how fabulous Lisa was before as well as on the day. She is such a lovely, fun and friendly woman. We really enjoyed working with her in planning the day and her singing down the phone to us as she explored various song suggestions will be a fond memory for us both... leaving us very excited for the day itself. We both love music, as do our families and put a lot of effort to line up some fantastic musical acts in addition to Lisa, including a 6 piece band and a solo guitarist we flew in from abroad. We also had a number of first class entertainers and performers....however despite this, the number one comment we had from every guest during the day and since has been the dramatic and hugely positive impression Lisa had on everyone. We almost felt bad our guests were giving her so much attention and trying to book her for their own events, including a lot of people who had already booked their musicians and were now having second thoughts!! We wanted the wow factor and Lisa certainly provides that. We can’t think of anyone we’ve ever seen musically who is so versatile and yet consistently high quality, indeed... top class. From classical church performances (she is very knowledgable and comfortable in working with you and your ceremony) ... she also learnt a particular piece for us that we’ve never heard covered and yet she delivered it as if it was her favourite song while also very much making it her own. Switching to a top class contemporary set during the drinks reception took everyone by surprise....and her true personality really came out when she switched into a medley of her own hip hop / original numbers blended with a traditional Irish music session, a sing off and an Irish dance combo. There is little to add to what others more qualified have already said in terms of her pure and incredible voice. Beyond this... to give you a sense of her capability... she was able to jam with another musician she only met on the day... to pick up, tune and play a new instrument (family heirloom banjo) as a special request.... to captivate 150 guests of all age ranges and from across the globe, and was able to keep our guests enthralled and enchanted with her for over 6 hours. We’ve met someone who we will enjoy following and listening to for the rest of our lives and who we will always feel lucky we were able to have share our special day. I suspect we will be going to see her gig and perform again very soon (if our guests don’t beat us to it first!). "

"This long-standing UK jug band capture the knockabout sound of the best Memphis jug bands of the 20s and 30s extremely well in addition to turning their hand to melodic blues, vintage jazz, old timey music and hokum. It all makes for a very fine and fun releas."

"This group are just AWSOME!! They performed at our wedding and they completely made it for us!! Not only are they extremely talented musicians and fantastic vocals but they are also the nicest guys in the world!! DO NOT look any further....just hire them"

"Booking a band for the most important day of your life is nerve racking, to say the least. We really liked your website and the clips, but it still wasn't an easy choice. After much deliberating we decided to take the plunge. In the build up you were really responsive to all of our questions & on the day you turned up & set up discretely and when we were ready to go, you put on a great show. Not only did you sound amazing, you looked the part as well. With a professional setup, great set list and enough energy to keep everyone going all night. It was absolutely fantastic & we couldn't have asked for anything more. We couldn't recommend you highly enough it capped off an amazing day and the fact that you setup outside under the fairy lights so we could dance away the night with friends & family was magical. My only regret was that you had to stop. ​ Thank you so much for making our wedding so special. I don't know what I had to worry about! Best of luck with the rest of the year, I hope it's a busy one. "

"Ciro was amazing! Everyone at our party loved him! We all love his voice and energy, he really made our party light up! It was a hectic day, however, Ciro was so accommodating that it made it so easy for us. We couldn’t be more happy and grateful that we chose to celebrate our wedding party with him. Not only we recommend Ciro, but can’t wait to our next party and chance to enjoy his lovely voice and performance again!! Thank you :)"

"We got married at The Ned in July and booked The Romantics to kick off our Champagne reception, we couldn't have asked for a better way to start the celebrations - all the guest were up dancing and singing immediately, just having the BEST time! They are all fantastic musicians and such good fun. Prior to the wedding communication was fantastic, very professional... simply great guys to work with. Don't think about it... Book them! "Boots & Buckles were amazing, I seriously couldn't fault them. Communication was great in the lead up to the event and on the day their performance was outstanding. I received lots of positive feedback from everyone who attended the event about "how great the band was" and I would definitely recommend then for any Country and Western themed events. They managed to get people on their feet dancing and were extremely flexible in terms of timings, etc on the day. Thank you !"

"Incredible acoustic duo – absolutely made our night! We hired Kodiak Avenue for our beer festival style wedding party, and they were phenomenal from start to finish. They travelled all the way over from North Wales to be with us, and right from the beginning, their communication was incredibly clear. They stayed in touch constantly in the run-up to the big day, which gave us complete peace of mind. They provided fantastic setlists for us to choose from, and they let us completely curate our own entire set from their massive back catalogue. Because of this, they played a set made up exclusively of our favourite country songs. As a live country music act, they are exceptional. The lead vocalist is a truly talented country singer, and together as an acoustic duo, their sound is incredible. Their voices harmonise incredibly well giving a fantastic "full" sound. They played all the best country hits and really knew how to work the crowd, getting everyone up on their feet singing and dancing along. If you are looking for fantastic live music for your event, we cannot recommend Kodiak Avenue enough!"
