"We knew we wanted a band for our wedding, and found the Hot Hats by chance via a google search - after watching their YouTube previews we were suitably impressed and got in touch with Alfie who was incredibly helpful. In the run up to the wedding he asked us to provide a list of our favourite tracks and bands for the DJ playlist in between live sets, including our choice of first dance. On the day they arrived in plenty of time, set up without fuss and got the evening well under way, worked with us to ensure the timing of our first dance was when we wanted and interacted well with the guests to ensure the dance floor was full all night. They remembered small details like Queen being my favourite band and included a track in their set which was a nice touch. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"I would highly recommend The Verge if you're considering a band. From the start the band have been amazing. They played our first song which made the awkward first dance so much easier. The sets were incredible and had everyone dancing. There's not many bands that will invite your 7 year old onto the stage to play the tambourine for a song, something he'll always remember."

"Honestly don’t know how to thank you all enough! You were the absolute highlight of our wedding. A lot of our guests with children left before you began your set and I was so worried we would lose the atmosphere but that was impossible because you were amazing! We have had so many people speak to us since the wedding and say how talented you guys are as a band. Again thank you so much! We feel so grateful."

"We needed a singer at short notice for a colleagues birthday in our bar and it was the first time we used this site - impressed with the ease of using the site and the information it provided for each musician. We scrolled through all the musicians and came across Ciro and look at his reviews and videos. We liked what we saw as we were looking for a funky soul night and he met our criteria perfectly. Ciro turned up on time with all his equipment and he did not disappoint us. His selection of music was absolutely fantastic and had everyone jigging and dancing away - good old favorites which everyone enjoyed. His vocals were excellent and he topped the high notes with ease and his soul presence was epic. After his show he sat and mingled with us and I have to say 'What a Great Guy'. Would have no hesitation in recommending Ciro for any function and will have him back in the Embassy in an instant."

"I have had the pleasure of listening to Steph sing for nearly 10 years now. She is a very talented singer and song writer. A beautiful voice that we never tired of. Steph engages her audience superbly, and creates a fantastic atmosphere regardless of the audience size. She has the capability of singing a range of songs that suit everyone. Steph is quite simply amazing!"

"Lilac, Remko and the band organised a great evening of line dancing for 80 teenagers. After some initial reluctance they were soon tapping away and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. After a pizza break they then chilled to the sounds of the band. Thank you very much indeed and we will certainly be inviting the Band back."

"Hi Aly, A very big thank you for last night - once again, you played an enormous part in making it a much enjoyed evening and, therefore, a resounding success. We had a mix of parents with some who had been last year who, rather than arriving with trepidation, had come along knowing that there were in for a good time, plus some who had heard it was a good event and were keen to get involved. "Amazing! We can't recommend House of Chords enough! We chose them because they seemed more unique than other wedding bands we had looked at. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, with children up way after their bedtime, having a whale of a time. Everyone was talking about how great they were at breakfast the next morning. House of Chords were professional and friendly from start to finish and responded very quickly to emails which is always so helpful when you are busy planning your wedding. Mike contacted us in advance of our wedding to touch base and we had a reassuring and informative call, talking us through how it would all work. Their set list covered all ages and was well thought through based on our music tastes we had discussed. They were one of the best parts of our wedding and an unforgettable experience which we wish we could do all over again. Thank you to Mike, Andy and the rest of the band, from Elodie and Denis."
