"I booked De Fuego from looking them up on this site, I cannot over state just how fantastic they were, everyone who attended a rather large birthday party I had organized has commented on how great they were. Some of my friends are also musicians and were very impressed at the level of skill demonstrated, there was a large age range in attendance and everyone is still talking about De Fuego with a lot of them now looking them up on music apps etc. I cannot recommend them highly enough they were also very easy to deal with leading up to the big day, if this is the type of music you want at an event, I believe you simply will not find a better act."

"Duncan played at our daughters christening and was an absolute hit! His playing was enjoyed by all the age groups and he provided the most lovely happy atmosphere.. would totally recommend him for any event as he is the most fantastic musician.."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Amanda’s 60th Birthday Ceilidh – December 2025 Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio played at a ceilidh to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was actually the fourth time they have played at events for my family over the last ten years, and I’m hoping to have them again in future. It was a wonderful afternoon. The band’s music was cheery and infectious and soon got people dancing enthusiastically, including guests aged from five to 85 and those who had previously warned me that they wouldn’t be able to dance because of knee problems! Phil is a fantastic dance caller who makes ceilidh dancing easy and a pleasure even for those who have never done it before. We all really appreciated his clear instructions about each dance. This, together with Black Velvet’s expert musicianship made the ceilidh very enjoyable and huge fun. I can’t wait to do it again! Thanks so much."

"Saw The Explosive Party Band at The Tap last night. Great covers band, had everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves! Great vocals and musicianship. Performed an excellent 2.5 hour set. Perfect for functions and pubs"

"Amazing! What can I say! Charlotte and Dan entertained us at our wedding with their all day package which was worth every penny and more. Such an amazing talent but above all lovely people who really fitted in with our day and made the whole thing special from the walk down the aisle to the late night party. "House of chords were absolutely brilliant! So incredibly well received by our guests, everyone said how much fun the evening reception had been with a great live band. They were really accommodating with learning 3 extra songs for us, they arrived at the venue promptly and their communication with us during the build up to the wedding was brilliant. Couldn’t fault them at all. Worth every penny. Highly recommend this band."
