Review Centre: Background Music Bands

"Wow, what can I say about Lunar Acoustic apart from AMAZING!!!! Our wedding was late June 2019 and in May (quite last minute really) we decided we wanted a singer/group/guitarist to play at our wedding – exactly what, was to be decided. We did some Googling and came across Lunar Acoustic. We looked over their webpage and listened to their music videos and decided to make contact. Christina called me not long after I made contact and she was lovely. I knew straight away we were going to get along. Following on from the call I received an email explaining all the different packages on offer. I knew the date was sought after but before we committed I wanted to listen to them in person. We asked where they were playing and went along for a listen. They were great and we decided there and then to confirm the booking with them for the all-day package. On the day of the wedding Lunar Acoustic arrived nice and early and set up ready to sing to our guests on arrival. We had three songs sung during the wedding along with some beautiful acoustic instrumental tunes. It was perfect. Following the ceremony we had a lovely drinks reception but first Lunar Acoustic joined in with the outside celebrations and of course the surprise car  Following this Lunar Acoustic waited until the time was right and then set up again and started playing while guests were chatting with each other. Before we knew it, it was time for the evening reception where Lunar Acoustic were playing two more sets and our first dance. Well, this was amazing. They did the first dance exactly how we asked and it was magical. I also knew I wouldn’t hear the ceremony songs (due to excitement) so requested they played the songs from the ceremony at certain points again in their sets and they did. It was great listening to them again throughout the day. Lunar Acoustic were fabulous. Professional from start to finish and every guest commented on how amazing they were. During the arrival and drinks reception the volume was enough that you could thoroughly enjoyed the music but still chat and the evening was lively enough to get you dancing right into the night. I felt like Lunar Acoustic were guests at the wedding rather than musicians, as they fitted right in. I have recommend them to everyone I know and I know every one of the guests will be doing the same. Not only did they sound amazing they were dressed for the part too. "The Yorkshire Oompha Band performed at Llangollen Railways first ever Oktoberfest in September of 2017. The band were fantastic they put on a fabulous show and everyone was totally engrossed in the games and music. Thank you for making our event so special, we look forward to doing it all again next year."

"What a good band! Saw them at Ruby’s in Dalston and I loved them. They created such a good atmosphere, filling the room with good notes and positive vibes which is all you need when you are sipping cocktails with good friends. "

"Matt and the band were excellent. Great communication, timekeeping, friendly disposition and helpful with requests and suggestions. Musically they were fantastic. Lots of guests commented that they liked the music and the band judged the mood really well. I will definitely book them again!"

"Lion Strings played at my wedding in August 2017. There are no other words than... OH MY GOD! She is absolutely incredible, everyone's emotions ran high on the day whilst listening to her play (she even made my husband cry!!). She is so lovely, she really helped me whilst planning my wedding, she's really easy to talk to and she really made our day even more special with her beautiful music. I cannot recommend her enough!! "Thank you so much, it was spectacular! Its all anyone in the office has talked about for 2 days. Everyone had such a great time - the music was brilliant and the 'shunkling' or whatever the swaying was called and games and crowd participation was all just fantastic. It totally made the event and everybody loved it and had a brilliant time."
