Review Centre: Bands with DJ's

"These guys are absolutely awesome!! We booked Radio Dukes for our wedding in July 2025. Everything about these guys was just amazing. Mitch was a pleasure to deal with, his communication was excellent, fast responses and clear advice. Their set list is a great mix and they even learnt our first dance no problem. We booked the 5 piece band which included the saxophonist (well worth it!) plus the additional DJ service to cover all night. One of the biggest draw cards to these guys was we wanted a band who had good engagement with the guests. They honestly didn’t disappoint. We had guests playing the drums, singer dancing with us, guitarists raving!! We just had the best time. For anyone looking for a wedding band, we honestly couldn’t rate these guys high enough!! The issue is that most bands are managed by an agency. The agency hikes the prices to make commissions, mixes different talents together to form a band (sometimes having never played together before) and generally you’re unsure of what you’re gonna get. Radio Dukes were so much cheaper than everyone else, but simply because they don’t go through an agency. Because we booked them all night with DJ, they just read the room and mixed up the live sets with some played music so it didn’t seem like it was a block of the band, then rest was DJ music. It was well mixed. Well done guys, absolutely outstanding service. Thank you for an unforgettable wedding day."

"The best wedding band!!! Radio Dukes performed at our wedding last Saturday and we cannot recommend enough. They sounded amazing and even learnt our slightly unique first dance song! Each band member was friendly and fun, they set up in a timely manner and were easily contactable in the build up. They then turned into a DJ whereby they were happy to take requests from all our wedding guests all night long! I cannot recommend enough and wish I had a reason or event to book them again!! 🥂🥂"

"We booked The Hot Hats for our wedding on 22nd July, his communication and understanding in the planning of the day was amazing. We arrived at our reception to hear them playing and as I walked into the room I was greeted with the warmest smiles. They played throughout our wedding breakfast in an adjoining room as back ground music, it was perfect. Later they moved to our main hall and set up for the evening do. They were so much fun and even allowed one of our friends to do her silly Dolly Parton impression and found the backing track for her, such fun. They then sang Here Comes The Sun for our first dance "

"We booked The Chandeliers for a special event we were hosting at a cinema- they were superb. Despite giving them a lot of information at the last minute, they were flexible and forthcoming and really had our audience dancing and cheering. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!"

"Firstly we, Kestrel, would like to thank you for the part you both played in ensuring that our celebration of achieving three Queens Awards for International Trade at the House of Commons was such a huge success. We appreciate that it is no mean feat to tackle the large amount of process, forms and general red tape required to gain access to the Houses of Parliament, have yourselves and your equipment approved, and set up within an extremely short time frame. You also managed all of their decibel and internal requirements without any one from Kestrel needing to have any involvement – which is very much appreciated on such a busy occasion. Leaving me free to manage all other aspects of the event, without needing to be involved in the music and entertainment. When we heard you play at the Hoste Arms in Burnham Market, we were extremely impressed especially with the combination saxophone music and really feel that the variety of music you can provide makes you flexible enough to attend a wide range of events. That along with your organisational skills and professional attitude is hugely to be commended. We would not hesitate to use you again, with or without the saxophone, and equally to recommend you to other high profile events within both the corporate and the private entertainment sector. Another massive plus for us was the feedback we received from our guests, who absolutely loved the evening and many were to be found just enjoying listening to your music and we received comments on the night and also feedback to say that it really made the evening. "What a night! Our party was such an incredible success and the main topic of conversation centred around just how great the band were. When you book this band, you are not just booking a band to play music, you are booking a full on stage show. The whole band are a great bunch of musicians, with Peter at the front who is a fantastic showman and kept our guests entertained for the whole evening. The dance floor was heaving for most of the evening and our guests kept asking for more as the guys finished their final song, and they played on for a few more songs. I cannot thank you all enough for creating a wonderful atmosphere and entertaining us all which ensured our party was a runaway success. Even now two days later, people are coming up to me talking about the band. I would love to have the opportunity to book again at some point."

"We had The Marvellous Motown Souls at The New Packhorse in Westgate,Bradford on Saturday 9th March,I also booked the band in December,they went down really,really well,in fact i actually booked the night of work myself to come and see these guys for the first time....Firstly it was really nice to meet them face to face,absolutley lovely people,Secondly ,brilliant at getting the crowd involved,Lizy is so energetic and professional,and the rest of the band just gel so well together,Thanks for another great night.......Highly recommended...Thankyou."

"We had an absolute ball on our wedding night and that was definitely due to you guys. The music was brilliant and the flexibility when I requested a song and when you allowed one of our guests to serenade us was most appreciated. The variety of music we could choose from was great and allowed us to pick something for everyone - although I don’t think I managed to leave the dance floor all night! We thought you did a fantastic job and really looked the part and it felt like you were playing for most of the evening apart from a short break.
