"James was top class from booking to performance. We wanted to add some atmosphere to a garden party stag and James set went down a treat. A brilliant variety of songs from different eras and genres which he also allowed us to pre select some from his repitore. A great talent and lovely guy. Would highly recommend and will book again. Thanks James!!!"

"Thank you so much for making our wedding the party of the year – everyone loved the music! Black Velvet Band Irish Trio played at our wedding reception and they were brilliant. I had worried whether people would want to dance to Irish music but I shouldn’t have. Everyone loved the music! We had a real proper Irish Hooley, with lots of dancing, singing-along and some humour in-between. As this was a marriage of cultures (English, Irish and Dutch) we were also touched that the band played a couple of traditional Dutch songs, allowing the Dutch to have a good sing-along as well. And when my dad asked if they could accompany him for a song to sing after his speech, it was no problem. The guys in the band are proper musicians who can play what the crowd needs to keep the party fuelled. The only complaint I have had is from my knees – which are still complaining, even after 4 days rest! Next time, I will wear trainers."

"We booked Annelise for a small party for a wedding anniversary. In the lead up to the event she was really helpful and great communication in order to make sure we were happy with all of the details prior to the day itself. On the day, Annelise's performance was great, the songs were performed beautifully and we all enjoyed listening to the jazz songs and young and old happily danced along. Thanks for adding more memories to the day. "

"Julian is a first class professional musician and entertainer. He captured the mood and atmosphere of my party and played appropriate music for all ages all night. He entertained everyone from 14 months old to 84. When he wasn't playing, which wasn't for very long all night, he provided DJ music, which he was even playing for over half an hour after he finshed and was packing his gear away. He made my party a special night to remember and I cannot praise him or thank him enough."

"I hired Irene to come and play the bagpipes to my family at our home for Father’s Day as a surprise. It couldn’t have gone any better Irene was prompt and performed beautifully. We really enjoyed it would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a special touch to complete their occasion. Thanks Irene"

"Played at our wedding in Somerset at the end of October and we cannot recommend them highly enough! They got everyone up on their feet and all our guests enjoyed dancing, clapping and tapping along! A very talented group of musicians and a must see! Thank you all so much x"

"We had the pleasure of having Andrew as our special guest instrumentalist at Mansfield Sings!' Spring concert. He serenaded us with a selection of easy listening, familar Jazz pieces, melting hearts all over the room. Heads were nodding and feet were tapping as our audience drank in every note. I loved every song, but my personal favourite was Mac the Knife! Andrew's sound system too provided an edge of professionalism, making us feel as if we were in a concert hall or studio, rather than the function room we hired. I was so pleased when Andrew agreed to collaborate with the choir for a couple of songs. His contribution inspired the singers, and I could feel their performance lift as he accompanied with joyful tones. As somebody who also plays in a band with Andrew from time to time, I can also commend his musicianship and commitment to creating special, musical moments with others. I would definitely recommend Andrew, and would invite him again."

"I decided at the last minute that I wanted a singer during our ceremony and I found Jack online and got in touch and thankfully he was available. It really was the icing on the cake having Jack sing."
