Review Centre: Party Bands

"Now what can I say about the Band, Solid Gold. The event was my Masonic Lodge Ladies evening, of which I have the great honour of being master in its centenary year. As a result I wanted the evening to be the best possible, I was not disappointed. Paul and the band arrived mid afternoon for the event even though they were not due on stage until 9pm. Communication between us prior to the event was excellent, very professional and informative, then we get to the evening itself. WOW!!! What a night, over the years I have booked acts for many organisations and I have got to say Solid Gold stand out as the best by a country mile. Every single person had a fabulous evening and that was down to Solid Gold. During our pre event discussion Paul ask for details of the event, what kind of audience it would be and what kind of music I would like them to perform. As a result the band put together a playlist that was absolutely perfect, unbelievably now knowing that I am a big fan of The Who they set about learning a couple of Who songs,which they had never done before, perfect!!!! If anyone is looking for a band that are musically excellent, reliable and know just how to entertain an audience, Solid Gold have got to be their number one option, I cannot praise them enough. "Superfunked supplied the most amazing band for my 50th birthday at The Atrium by the House of Lords - they warmed things up nicely with a cocktail set then set the place on fire with 2 hours of soul, swing and rock n roll!"

"I hired to Deutsche Fabrik to play for my husband's 40th and they were awesome. Super professional, very accomodating and patient when our venue had to change and lovely to chat to. Would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a fun 80s synth duo for an event or party. Made my husband's birthday that much more special. "

"Saw them last night, April 11th. at the Ritz, Penzance. Brilliant night in a fantastic venue. Riviera Dogs are an amazing band, fabulous front man, excellent musicians that kept most of the audience on their feet dancing most of the evening, Love going to events at The Ritz and can't wait for Riviera Dogs to be booked here again."

"Big Smoke Brass band were absolutely incredible! Our only regret is that we didn't get them to play for longer. They had everyone up, singing and dancing! We loved the set list and we hope that we can arrange another party soon just as an excuse to book these guys again! Just brilliant! Our guest haven't stopped talking about you guys. We highly recommend booking Big Smoke Brass band to anyone wanting a great party atmosphere!"

"I can’t even begin to express how incredible this band was at our wedding. From the very first song to the final encore, they were truly amazing to watch. They weren’t just playing music; they were engaging the entire room, dancing with guests, getting people involved, and creating an atmosphere that felt completely electric. Their talent is unreal. Every song was spot-on, vocals were flawless, and the energy never dropped. Hands down, they were the highlight of the entire day. We’ve had so many guests tell us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen — and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re even thinking about booking them, do it. You will not regret it!"

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day."
