"MATFIN provided the entertainment at our charity ball in Plymouth. From the very first contact they were super helpful and extremely professional. Everything literally was Covered. Matt (bandleader) is super quick to respond to enquiries and could not be more helpful. On the night of the event they were set up and ready to go early and on hand to enable us to use their PA for announcements. Once they took the stage the floor immediately filled and stayed like that throughout the evening. A collection of songs to suit everyone with extremely high standards of musicianship throughout the band. MATIFN were a crucial part of making our event such a success. Thank you MATFIN. We highly recommend you to anyone looking to put on a successful event."

"I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Melisma performing at our retirement party. Everything about Melisma Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutley fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly! I cannot thank Melisma Jazz enough for making our event such a wounderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on! "Had Steve and Milka perform for us at our wedding July 2025. WOW what a performance and sound they produced and created a fantastic atmosphere which was a great start to our fantastic day. Both Steve and Milka were very engaging professional and accomplished. Communicating with Steve from my initial enquiry to our communication a week or so before our wedding to finalise the play list was excelllent. Steve’s guidance on what would work for them in terms of arrangement for the piano and violin was invaluable. All of our guests thought their performance in its entirety was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend their hiring to perform at your wedding or any other event that you want to have professional musicians performing on the piano and violin as a duet. "We hired the Tom Belbin Trio for my dads 70th birthday party and they were great! Good communication beforehand, arrived and set up on time and discreetly and played their socks off for 2 x 45 minute sets which was beautifully played, upbeat jazz. I would definitely recommend. Like"

"Christian played at our wedding, he played as the guests were arriving, the walk in song, after the ceremony and during the fizz and canapes, he was sensational, it really set the mood and emotions throughout this time and was perfect. Christian himself is very friendly and talented, he even learnt a song he wasn't familiar with, with only a week to go until the wedding. I couldn't recommend having him play at your event enough. I can honestly say it was the perfect touch to our special day."

"My first impression is how well they all get on. There is a lot of laughter even as they are setting up their stuff. Jazz musicians can be a bit moody but this lot don't take themselves so seriously. They are talking and joking with everyone all the way through. And you can see as they play, they are changing the music based on whats happening. Always sounds great. First time I saw them was in our pub on a Sunday lunchtime and at the end all these kids and their mums wanted to have selfies taken with the band and they were just delighted, letting the kids hold the instruments, messing about for the cameras. Their positive attitude makes a world of difference. I'm not surprised they have done so well. Don't forget where you started! Definitely recommend them."

"We booked the quartet for a private party with a noir/black tie theme in Soho. Musically the girls were fabulous, but they also added to our immersive event by presenting and engaging with our audience who were up on their feet dancing within moments. Everyone’s reaction was much same - “Wow!”. Thank you all so much. "

"When I first saw him, I was so amazed at his talent and style and how he appealed to all age groups, I immediately booked him for a private function. Neither I nor my guests were disappointed and as the years have gone on he has got better and better becoming a staunch professional and not just as a 'crooner' but as an entertainer. I have been to several of his gigs and can only say that as his voice has got stronger, his repertoire larger, it gets harder and harder to book seats which shows just how high his popularity is and deservedly so as well. I would have no problem with recommending Tom to any of my friends or indeed to anybody in the leisure industry who is looking for a talented and professional singer to entertain their customers."
