"Finding a great band for a wedding is surprisingly excruciating and risky. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic, so we had to rely on online videos when searching for bands. We discovered very many high-priced function bands that look pretty, have excellent promotional videos and websites, but have absolutely no soul or no groove. We also had a few lucky escapes: such as certain bands failing to tell us that the very talented lead singer in their promotional video wouldn't be performing with the band, and a few of the bands we saw in pubs and bars demonstrating no idea how to set their PA system to enjoyable levels. Oh and did I mention some bands were requesting RIDICULOUS prices! However, for us it was so important to find a good band, as my new wife and I and many of our friends are dancers, and we wanted lots of people to dance at our wedding. I wrote a specific brief and had high standards, which meant I spent AAAAGGGGES searching and was mostly disappointed. But then somehow, I finally stumbled across Disco Infernos's videos. Oh - My - GOD! Prayers were answered and we hadn't even got to the church yet. They offered a few bands of different styles, sizes and repertoires - and for us Disco Infernos was the closest to what we wanted. Disco Infernos are also super adaptable, as whilst some of the performers we liked weren't available, we were offered a variety of other performers and could choose who we thought would work best for our occasion, and even the kind of outfits they could wear (although we weren't really fussy about that. What we wanted was a great band.) The standard of everyone we reviewed was very high, and when we wanted performers that could perform funk, soul, disco, jazz, R&B and pop within one performance we got them. I don't like the saxophone, so I asked for a trombone player instead. Done. We reviewed a variety of lead singers, and we chose Najwa, and we're so pleased we did. She gave a superstar performance with a personable, upbeat and still professional attitude, incorporating so many of our specific requests that we knew our guests would enjoy, and encouraging our guests to interact with her whilst she was on stage. Due to a delay caused in to the start of the meal, the band even accommodated a shorter mid-set break to keep the dancing and energy going through-out the reception. Not only did that ensure we continued having an excellent wedding party, it truly gave us value for money for our booking. Guests loved the band. We loved the band. And the band seemed to love our wedding. All very important. We are very grateful to Rhona, Disco Infernos and when we have another occasion where we'd like a great function band, we'll first approach Disco Infernos. "

"As Mayor of Whiston I have twice booked Sarah for various events, I find Sarah both proffessional and friendly , which is very hard to achieve in a packed room .Sarah was exceptional both times with the audience asking for "more please" Whiston thanks you Sarah , and you have definitely made my year go with a swing . "Rory were great at our wedding. First, they were super-flexible, fitting in with our somewhat fluid plan for the day! But most importantly, all our guests loved the accompaniment they provided to our special afternoon at Holdsworth House. They are a very talented bunch of guys, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a live jazz band. Thank you very much."

"House of chords played at our wedding in February and I can honestly say they were simply amazing. I couldn’t recommend them anymore than to say that everyone that attended the wedding has not stopped talking about how amazing the band were, they kept everyone dancing all night. "We recently had Nigel play at our wedding at Woughton House. We decided to book Nigel to play all day (Ceremony, Drinks Reception & Wedding breakfast) and were so glad that we did. Nigel added a perfect ambiance to the entire day, he played a fantastic variety of music and even learnt a cover of Time After Time for us. I would highly recommend Nigel for any wedding or party and would not hesitate to book him again."

"Gary played at my pub last weekend. A good number of new customers came and many regulars stayed much later than usual. Plenty of customers were still singing and dancing at 11.00 p.m. We will have to order extra stocks next time!"

"These lovely gents played on Sat 12th May 2018 at a friend and mines 50th fancy dress birthday party in Lincolnshire. Well worth the money, the whole process from first contact to the end of the night was hassle free, done in a friendly way. They turned up on time, knew their jobs and played 2 fantastic sets! We were up and dancing all night, would book again! Thanks guys, from the ......Ringmaster"

"GYD played our wedding in 2014, we asked for the acoustic set and we could not fault them. Emma sang me down the aisle and created the most beautiful atmosphere. I have since seen them play as a group and would recommend them to anyone!"
