Review Centre: Bagpipers

"Andrew was incredible. It was my Grans 80th on the 31st August. Due to lockdown she has be isolating since the start so has been able to see any family. My Gran is Scottish and has always loved the bagpipes. I wanted to do something special for her so I booked Andrew as a surprise so turn up at her house and play a few songs. Andrew was amazing, had my gran in tears. Played all the songs we requested beautifully. Such a memorable day. I can’t highly recommend Andrew enough. So professional and outstanding. I’m sure I will book him again in the future. "

"Tom was so wonderful to us on the cruise in May 2024, he let me take a picture with him and we heard him play for two nights. His music 🎶 is fantastic and so moving. We shared lunch with him and learned of his history in playing the bagpipes. Thanks Tom 😊 "

"Well where do I start! I contacted Billy to book him as a surprise for my husband to be, Colin. Initially, I asked if he would play outside the registry office for the guests arrival. Billy asked if Colin would be leaving from a hotel, which he was, along with some of the guests who were staying there - they had all planned to take the 5 minute walk up the hill to the registry office together. Billy suggested that he could meet Colin at the hotel then pipe him and the guests from the hotel through the streets of Lincoln to the registry office - what a fantastic idea! I then contacted ALL the guests attending the wedding to meet at the hotel for the walk up to the registry office! Even better was to come when Billy also piped us all back down the hill to the hotel as a Married couple! It was amazing and highly emotional - everyone was blown away! I think that the general public were too. Billy joined us at our reception afterwards and mingled with us all which was a lovely touch - Billy was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for him and he helped to make our day even more special. I would Very Highly Recommend Billy for any function. An Amazing gentleman"

"Last Minute Musicians made it possible for Rob and I to relax and thoroughly enjoy our Wedding ceremony onboard HMS Warrior, knowing that Sarah-Jane had meticulously coordinated all the arrangements for Tom to provide the music by playing the bagpipes. Tom’s beautiful and ethereal music not only captivated everyone, but his presence as a lone piper in magnificent clan tartan was so appropriate to the theme and style we were hoping our Wedding would be. Last Minute Musicians exceeded our expectations and we warmly recommend them to anyone wanting that special touch to an important occasion."

"I am a solo piper, so I wanted the very best piper for my mother's funeral. Hector elegantly slow marched the hearse to the chapel. His turn out was immaculate, his playing and pipes were perfection. Hector played Flowers of the Forrest at the graveside and slow marched away so the Lament drifted away. Such a wonderful touch. Can not recommend Hector high enough. He made our wish of taking a sad day and turning it into a wonderful celebration of my Mum's life."

"Chris was the perfect musician for our wedding. We had a winter/Christmas wedding, Chris was able to combine a mixture or Christmas music into his set list for us. Chris was really good with communicating with us on the lead up to the wedding. He was very accommodating with his set list and was able to play the songs I requested. All our guests commented on how beautifully the music was played. I would definitely 100% recommend Chris for your wedding!!"
