Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"My wife & I recently hired Olly's House of Jazz for our wedding. We knew we were in for a good time when guests were itching to dance, just from hearing the band's sound check! Their playing was immaculate and they really knew how to light up the room, every single guest was either dancing (myself included) or they were tapping along from their seats. We could not have asked for a better band to play on our big day. I would also like to touch upon how responsive, patient and accommodating Olly was during the lead up to the day, agreeing not only to play multiple songs that I requested, but also learning a song for the first dance, which was so good, it has tainted my love for the original. All in all, it was a pleasure to have Olly and his band at our wedding and I wholly recommend them."

"I would highly recommend It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to anyone who wants to have a first class ceilidh experience! I use them evey year for our French exchange ceilidh and everyone loves their music; children, teenagers and parents alike! They explain the dances clearly so even our French visitors can take part and they play with such enthusiasm that the dance floor is never empty. They are reliable, professional and full of fun, so our ceilidh is always the highlight of our exchange week. Thank you guys - you do a fantastic job!"

"Prompt communication from initial introduction. Specific music requests were met. Gary played 3x45 minute Sets and provided music in between. Party was agreat success with Kingfisher playing music that got guests up singing and dancing. Thanks. "

"Radio Dukes played at our wedding in April 2024 and were amazing right from the start. The communication before the wedding was always prompt and took on board all our song requests. The dance floor was never empty and kept the party going all night. We also had the manned DJ in between sets which was definitely the right choice as our guests could also request songs. Thanks for making our evening reception that extra bit special!"

"the New Fox Band were phenomenal at our wedding. They are brilliant musicians and learnt a special request for our first dance. They played 2 very entertaining sets that kept the dance floor full all night, while giving instructions clear enough for a large group of not-so-sober guests! It really made the evening, I would 100% recommend them to anyone"

Absolutely every guest commented on what a great band you are, the numbers you played, the excellent musicianship and your great rapport with the crowd. "What can we say but the most enormous THANKYOU for a wonderful evening on the 25th! You made our wedding reception utterly wonderful and so many of our guests have said how much they enjoyed the evening and the music. My 93 year old grandmother refused to leave until the end and her feet were tapping all evening....she even joined in the last dance and that has to be credit to you. One table of guests had never been to a ceilidh before and said how much fun it was. You already have a couple of photo share recommendations on Facebook! I didn't get chance to speak to anyone directly as it was all a bit mental on the night but I really appreciated your professionalism and hard work. I hope you got chance to have some food....I did ask the team to reserve some! Be assured we will be booking you for our next ceilidh."
