"Surrey Strings arrived promptly, set up with no fuss in 2 locations (church and wedding reception) and played beautifully. Many guests commented on the excellence of the performance and we were delighted by contribution made to the atmosphere of the day. The responsiveness to requests made in advance for particular pieces also helped set the perfect tone for the two distinct performances. Highly recommended."

"Halfpenny Duo were fantastic. Really professional, really adaptable to slight timing changes on the night and just altogether 2 lovely people who made our anniversary party that bit more special. They were really kind enough to learn a song which was mine and my wife’s first dance as a married couple. Not a popular song on their set list but they learnt it for us and it was beautiful. "We had the guys perform at our event this weekend. A fundraiser for our sports club, they got the crowd up, dancing and in the party mood and the dance floor was full all night. I would highly recommend them and if we have another event, would certainly look to use them again. After the event, everyone was really complimentary of the bands performance."

"The Sounds Interesting quartet were extremely professional on the day of my wedding. My guests loved listening to their take on modern music and having them play a 'thousand years' as my bride walked down the isle was something which will stay with me forever. Although myself and my new wife were whisked away for photos during the groups main set, my guests said they played some wonderful music. My only regret is that I didn't get to hear more of it. Anne was also very helpful on the lead up to my wedding day, full of advice for me and very helpful and understanding when I was choosing my music pieces. I would certainly recommend Sound Interesting Quartet to any one looking to add a touch of class to their event. Many thanks Anne, I will recommend you wherever possible in the future. Kev & Nicky"

"I absolutely loved this pair. I recently planned a wedding in Duns, Scotland and Sally & Graham drove over an hour to play about 3 hours at my event. Everything went completely perfectly, from our communication beforehand, the song list, them adding songs I requested, the location and sound quality for their sets, and setup/tear down. I wanted a relaxed, acoustic sound with talented musicians definitely not a DJ party wedding band, so this duo was perfect for that. This website and this band are excellent value for the range and, again, quality of the music, 100% worth the price and more. Before the event, I gave them some some requests including Africa by Toto, which they REWROTE and learned in their own style (HUGE HIT and really surprised my husband). Also we coordinated a place for them to setup, the times of the sets, and what meals they wanted to have, and everything went off without a hitch. They were also so very sweet and wonderful people that they really impressed all my guests who were complimentary and wondering where I found such an amazing band. One of the best things about the Scotswood Acoustic Duo is how their song list covers a huge variety of music that they somehow play all equally wonderfully. So everyone's music tastes were satisfied and it made for very interesting listening, this was one of the compliments I heard alot. There are just so many nice things to say, please book this band and get them doing music full time because they are AMAZING!"
