"We booked Astri Strings for our celebration event at The Post Barn, Newbury. Jude was a delight to deal with during the booking stage, gave us a lovely pre-event call to check everything was in order and arrived as planned on the day. Jude and Vicki provided the perfect background music for our event with a gorgeous mix of Classical and Bridgerton style music to welcome guests arriving. Everyone appreciated having live musicians as they looked fabulous and sounded fantastic. Thank you both, from the WD Farmers team, for making our event extra special. July 2024 "

"Where were you on Wednesday 25th May at 6pm? If the answer is anywhere but at Gratot church, you missed a treat! The people who were in the audience were richly entertained by a trio of talented musicians who freely gave of their time in order to raise funds in support of Ukraine. The programme was widely varied and featured Irene Donnelly (who sang in four languages, no mean feat ) , hitting some incredibly high notes, and violinist/violist Anne Tupling who played with a mellifluous or exciting tone as demanded by the different genres of music.  The concert started appropriately with Ukrainian folk music by Verchovino, featuring all three performers, in which you could sense the stamping of boots and clapping of hands, portrayed by the strong rhythmic beat. This set the high standard for the rest of the evening. We were treated to music by composers ranging from Handel to Gershwin, Puccini to Cole Porter, and also to the haunting Ashokan Farewell (written 40 years ago by the American composer, Jay Ungar), played with great sensitivity by Anne. This was possibly my favourite performance in the musical pot pourri. The evening was a resounding success and raised the wonderful sum of £600 to go to help those who have lost so much. Thank you for organising the event and bravo to the musicians for a memorable evening. You seemed to enjoy performing as much as we enjoyed listening. Encore please!"

"Serenity played for my 50th birthday party at Ryton Cricket club and they were absolutely fantastic. We had a mixed age group from 7- 70+ and everyone had a superb night. Tony and Lucrecia did a great set and had a '10 more songs' encore!!! Book them and you will have a terrific night. "

"We booked Will for our wedding day in June and we are so glad we did! He played for an hour during our wedding breakfast and he was absolutely brilliant. All our guests loved him, he got everyone in the mood for a party and the atmosphere in the room was perfect! We would 100% recommend him."

You had my husband in tears (in a good way!) and I'm so happy things worked out and you were able to perform for us! I know how much Lucien wanted to see your act at our wedding and I'm so grateful Teo worked hard to make it happen despite the last minute changes! "From the initial enquiry right the way through to the event, both the service and level of communication was excellent. Definitely highly recommend the service offered by LastMinuteMusicians. But, more importantly, Josh was absolutely amazing, and he soon had everyone singing along, clapping and dancing from the off. And bearing in mind our event was a small family gathering of around 30 people (in our garden) to celebrate our son's wedding, with an age range of 1 - 75 years, that was no mean feat ! Our small grandchildren really enjoyed every song and Josh responded amazingly by playing the songs that kept everyone dancing. It was so lovely to see them enjoying the live music, and we have lovely photos and videos to treasure. Thank you so much, you delivered on all counts"

"Stretto Ensemble were excellent on the day of my daughter's wedding. They played beautifully and in particular adapted a specific piece to play as my daughter walked down the aisle. "We had the band up for our summer party last weekend and they were fantastic. Quick communication made organising the event as easy as possible, and on the day music was absolutely perfect! They judged the mood and the crowd brilliantly and played a wonderful set. Everyone has been asking when we will be having you back, so hope to see you soon!"
